<br />
The highlighter is very yellow/warm, so I would NOT recommend it for fair/pink undertoned people!! But for my warm yellow light medium skin tone. this highlight is perfection!!<br />
<br />
The highlight is SPARKLY. it has visible specks of sparkles on my cheeks, even after I buff and melt it into my skin. So if you DO NOT like sparkly/high shine highlights this would not be for you!!<br />
<br />
I personally like these kinds of highlights when I'm out at night time, to really make my skin POP. So I will and do use it quite often!!<br />
<br />
The Gloss Bomb is stunning!! It's not sticky or tacky, its medium weight/heaviness, and it really does hydrate your lips!!!<br />
<br />
I wore this gloss on a day where it was -31 degrees C, and my lips didn't get burned or chapped from the wind and cold!!<br />
<br />
Amount: The "mini" gloss bomb has 5.5ml in it, where the full size is 9ml. so it's over half the amount of the full size!! The mini highlighter is 2.2g!! so pretty small, but you need SO little of it!<br />
<br />
Overall: I HIGHLY recommend this mini set, or picking up these in full size!! Very lovely and I'm looking forward to purchasing more from this line!Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-77314045402981491992018-01-12T22:36:00.001-08:002018-01-12T22:36:47.434-08:00Where Have I Been? + Tumor UpdateHello friends!! Long time no post, am I right?<br />
<br />
one of my last posts, was updating you all on my tumor being back.<br />
<br />
Well, today, January 13th is one year since my last surgery for my tumor, and in the spirit of that. I have decided to kick myself in the butt and get back here!<br />
<br />
In the next upcoming 2 months, I will be having MAJOR life changing surgery.<br />
<br />
I will be having my whole bottom jaw removed, and I will have the tumor riddled parts of my jaw cut off, and replaced with titanium and have my left fibula removed from my leg and have that put into my jaw to replace the cut off parts of my bone.<br />
<br />
I will be in the ICU (Intensive care unit) for 2 days, on a trachea (it's a breathing tube that they cut open your throat and insert INTO your throat to make you keep breathing) for 5 days, and then in the hospital for another 7 recovering.<br />
<br />
I will be in a leg cast for a while, then into physiotherapy.<br />
<br />
I wont be out of recovery, and back to work for 2 and a half years from my surgery.<br />
<br />
I will have a long scar along the bottom of my chin/along my throat, another at the base of my throat, and one long scar down my calf.<br />
<br />
Needless to say, once I found out I will be going through all of this, I get very, severely depressed. I stopped doing anything I loved. I would cry randomly, and I stopped sleeping for a bit because of nightmares.<br />
<br />
But it's been 3 months since I found out about this upcoming surgery, and i'm ready to kick myself out of this bout of depression!! And I have decided to get back into blogging, and talking with you all!!<br />
<br />
Thank you to each and every one of you reading this right now!!!<br />
<br />
I'll be back with new posts soon!!Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-58769635609992306722017-10-15T10:00:00.000-07:002017-10-15T10:00:10.820-07:00What's In My Fall Makeup Bag?Hello friends!!!<br />
<br />
Today i'm going to show you all what i'm carrying around in my daily makeup bag, for fall!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeVArpJ6xhq_xaz-KKKL201odiNB3ZebSpzkUYCQyIfvkoijzbv2EiKpLo1ioZLi9usTQqAKqWYmVjlqDVZoVxQ7RB4dVfhgYt8nlW798xCsvuGsEtkgjZbLtQ_4b3d1wPnrf4dXGSzmA/s1600/DSCN0986.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeVArpJ6xhq_xaz-KKKL201odiNB3ZebSpzkUYCQyIfvkoijzbv2EiKpLo1ioZLi9usTQqAKqWYmVjlqDVZoVxQ7RB4dVfhgYt8nlW798xCsvuGsEtkgjZbLtQ_4b3d1wPnrf4dXGSzmA/s320/DSCN0986.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For a base, i'm using a nice thick layer of SPF! Always!<br />
<br />
After the SPF sinks in, I'll apply a small amount of Cover FX Mattifying primer all over!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYn-GeU_SziAm4gD21xYenNr4soFIbdonAhKTGvYKRwe625qGCEBf3bAA9mXC6TU2ppjDHkt7Y2XKKByTA3SigSbdE09csY5zw2JitIwLsQbDHtkXnizSgwA3LNo8N-WgztEhTfEVqT4w/s1600/DSCN0989.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYn-GeU_SziAm4gD21xYenNr4soFIbdonAhKTGvYKRwe625qGCEBf3bAA9mXC6TU2ppjDHkt7Y2XKKByTA3SigSbdE09csY5zw2JitIwLsQbDHtkXnizSgwA3LNo8N-WgztEhTfEVqT4w/s320/DSCN0989.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For my foundation, I'm really loving Sephora wonderful cushion! it gives light natural coverage, and is pretty darn good!<br />
<br />
I'm also using the last few drops of my SECOND bottle of L'oreal Pro Matte foundation, which is my favorite fall foundation!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj56chuTlRTznXXOdd7X1l96UTr2f2hidm1QvIKp9ztyTjrxPZ1OZmId8HOF2_QLSlfVH7Gn8LgPEI0YkJ2LgSChQdc2-XFHOABCHj85kYnWK00LruF8tYQ1buqHODS0TLteIBeTswZemU/s1600/DSCN0991.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj56chuTlRTznXXOdd7X1l96UTr2f2hidm1QvIKp9ztyTjrxPZ1OZmId8HOF2_QLSlfVH7Gn8LgPEI0YkJ2LgSChQdc2-XFHOABCHj85kYnWK00LruF8tYQ1buqHODS0TLteIBeTswZemU/s320/DSCN0991.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For concealer, I like to be a little bit extra. But I use Sephora make no mistake concealer under my eyes, as it's really full coverage. And then MAC prolongwear concealer on any spots or redness!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1plFpSTP9IDQvVuPOkfG9PfUzGwRKw3cCzdb6jHHxGyAF9tKJ2H74LUQ8erYJZsMlcUcjcguJz8HRdCcNskQMLzDCRwk-MINDMX84w4fMwhnLh0a66hOALvCm6HU50T_NmEswZIeSV54/s1600/DSCN0993.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1plFpSTP9IDQvVuPOkfG9PfUzGwRKw3cCzdb6jHHxGyAF9tKJ2H74LUQ8erYJZsMlcUcjcguJz8HRdCcNskQMLzDCRwk-MINDMX84w4fMwhnLh0a66hOALvCm6HU50T_NmEswZIeSV54/s320/DSCN0993.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For powder, I'm using MAC studio Fix powder, and a mix of Laura Mercier and RCMA No colour powder to set!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjer0saTkdvikEYgjsFEi-bTF0_XTVLpuyYnHQDcS3VqDCMnfK76aQ4DiTrJLGQ3zuHYFJLuNC_eVAQgxWEPipF8OzCGzkfCrgm7ihQUCZfsp5j9Ka16BwME_BR1CsGFGeMSv_krT3mahE/s1600/DSCN0995.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjer0saTkdvikEYgjsFEi-bTF0_XTVLpuyYnHQDcS3VqDCMnfK76aQ4DiTrJLGQ3zuHYFJLuNC_eVAQgxWEPipF8OzCGzkfCrgm7ihQUCZfsp5j9Ka16BwME_BR1CsGFGeMSv_krT3mahE/s320/DSCN0995.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I could not for the life of me, get a colour accurate photo, so I'm deeply sorry!!!<br />
<br />
For blushes, i'm adoring MAC Quikstick in all a flush and here you go as a cream base.<br />
<br />
My all time favorite blush, Clinique Black Honey Pop, which is a warm, luminous plum shade!<br />
<br />
And my favorite fall blush, NARS Sin! It's a cooler berry/mauve with golden shimmer!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimhUwA_QkZr9LJ5CBXrS5A-ykTQbeuEukwL6cBl6FnmL-5zOxF39WzwOfg6FoyaD0_9e7CQTQoIawqWWW942SMhk1lFPZqEYpSBU_Av_QD9IYsR_YpbI8kwlRHHzfakVITP-yYWq7BpXo/s1600/DSCN0999.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimhUwA_QkZr9LJ5CBXrS5A-ykTQbeuEukwL6cBl6FnmL-5zOxF39WzwOfg6FoyaD0_9e7CQTQoIawqWWW942SMhk1lFPZqEYpSBU_Av_QD9IYsR_YpbI8kwlRHHzfakVITP-yYWq7BpXo/s320/DSCN0999.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtay60npLweP_v8M0mJGFJDn4tex6b04B4lD1JIHeTJFiZ6Zc5b91rFwbF8V4kZ2o_wAY4VUkJGaE35SI06Q-OVtvwh7yzKSsJhI_iJdk64zL6DM6yaNJ5guF3zd9pS2jUqWj_IVYREgs/s1600/DSCN1001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtay60npLweP_v8M0mJGFJDn4tex6b04B4lD1JIHeTJFiZ6Zc5b91rFwbF8V4kZ2o_wAY4VUkJGaE35SI06Q-OVtvwh7yzKSsJhI_iJdk64zL6DM6yaNJ5guF3zd9pS2jUqWj_IVYREgs/s320/DSCN1001.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

ELF Mad For Matte 1 - As a hooded eye'd gal. I need matte transition, crease, and deepener shades. This is the best palette for me in that regard!! I use this every single day no exceptions. The colours blend out so easily, they don't go patchy or too sheer like some matte shades do.<br />

Benefit Roller Lash/Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascaras - I know, I'm cheating. I couldn't just pick one!! I have crappy lashes. They are thin, and short. So I use the thicker/creamier Sephora Mascara first, and do two coats of that. Then I do two coats of Roller Lash to thin out and separate my lashes! And I get HUGE lashes with this combo!! Both do not smudge, flake, or transfer!<br />

This is my natural hair texture! This was a wash and go day, just to give you a reference!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
-Limit washing your hair so you don't risk stripping your hairs natural oils.<br />
-Rinse with cold water!!! It's chilly but really helps with frizz!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Ds4J3pk8aDCMQEynVwHUyQXaYe7xAZxRyBEDdzVL2_tIcNb7mk9tamWFqWsT8Ks-bytppEudMJ-6hUc5uS-k1iBlPjG7zKn1vDuhTl9z_B9Op3UD_4vBZ5QyoyqHh9MKvyhDXaT9v8M/s1600/thumbnail_Esalon_hackcard2_v01%2525402x.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1124" data-original-width="1280" height="281" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Ds4J3pk8aDCMQEynVwHUyQXaYe7xAZxRyBEDdzVL2_tIcNb7mk9tamWFqWsT8Ks-bytppEudMJ-6hUc5uS-k1iBlPjG7zKn1vDuhTl9z_B9Op3UD_4vBZ5QyoyqHh9MKvyhDXaT9v8M/s320/thumbnail_Esalon_hackcard2_v01%2525402x.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
-BE GENTLE!!! When your hair is curly, it's VERY easily damaged and broken. Use a comb and gently work through any tangles!<br />
<br />
-I'v never done this, but LOADS of curly gals rave about using a diffuser to dry and add volume!<br />
<br />
-Use a microfiber cloth to SQUEEZE the moisture out of your hair. Do not RUB!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx7qTn5JU_Gi5qOGPeeiY235u-4c-yxhF61CLRHGI5pTob5QWoYTVrcRdAYjOTj2RUi9FJUN_mf1W27fsJ34_jh9jv2Ym1NA7R4QiyxoEKAcFJSzkwbuwnvIPm4WFVCKDsCVKQkW6AsNA/s1600/thumbnail_Esalon_hackcard3_v01%2525402x.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1124" data-original-width="1280" height="281" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx7qTn5JU_Gi5qOGPeeiY235u-4c-yxhF61CLRHGI5pTob5QWoYTVrcRdAYjOTj2RUi9FJUN_mf1W27fsJ34_jh9jv2Ym1NA7R4QiyxoEKAcFJSzkwbuwnvIPm4WFVCKDsCVKQkW6AsNA/s320/thumbnail_Esalon_hackcard3_v01%2525402x.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
-Use a volumizing mouse at the roots to help plump and make volume!<br />
<br />
-Dry shampoo is your BEST FRIEND.<br />
<br />
-heat protection is IMPORTANT!!<br />
<br />
<br />
Now, this is my personal curly hair routine. It may or may not work for you!! Everyone's curls are different!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHJBw9xfKIsHptAvWNJcFcjOPebKWVfKW6RMTDbPvOq8ogCwt7rABdmqKZWbTAKAOp6MpcbKCvB_vCwdLwXm8T0QB7j1VJdPp90m4ojDiRKzFpecemwhEkt4_3FuxtC9arc3pHnAT9_p8/s1600/DSCN0933.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHJBw9xfKIsHptAvWNJcFcjOPebKWVfKW6RMTDbPvOq8ogCwt7rABdmqKZWbTAKAOp6MpcbKCvB_vCwdLwXm8T0QB7j1VJdPp90m4ojDiRKzFpecemwhEkt4_3FuxtC9arc3pHnAT9_p8/s320/DSCN0933.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I wash only the hair that touches my face/scalp once a week, with Got2B Oil-licious shampoo! It's a low lather shampoo, that doesn't make my scalp feel that stripped "squeekey clean" feeling! I'm left with soft, managable hair!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvYBvNewWdob8W3-2AKTs0MCjlsYgnV4h8tdnxJwbqM-JZNSh4dXYEqWRwcdFcGTeLlud486HzHw8SY6PPOy2KlFfeA3wwitG_8theq0rC_P20Qfgr2O-74R7jdyM-T56Yvg4jjUbXOrI/s1600/DSCN0936.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvYBvNewWdob8W3-2AKTs0MCjlsYgnV4h8tdnxJwbqM-JZNSh4dXYEqWRwcdFcGTeLlud486HzHw8SY6PPOy2KlFfeA3wwitG_8theq0rC_P20Qfgr2O-74R7jdyM-T56Yvg4jjUbXOrI/s320/DSCN0936.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After I wash my scalp, I'll gently squeeze out extra water so the conditioner stays on better! Then I'll take about 5ml of Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner, and work that through the length around my ears. Then I go back and get MORE conditioner, and I'll work my way down my hair shaft making sure every strand is conditioned.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJvAtuBdN7RP5_KcWtAqV_RxAN5Sk-BqPSoycEQQacHmGDzZaLGt3NpFZOuAeg8wY7ON4GwYVbZY7BPMAAGc9qvSsQAIBEmfDVvQ4kvLbwpyTWGEu8P-UQ1ZFD7GWnMy0nYNoxHi8ONLU/s1600/DSCN0937.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJvAtuBdN7RP5_KcWtAqV_RxAN5Sk-BqPSoycEQQacHmGDzZaLGt3NpFZOuAeg8wY7ON4GwYVbZY7BPMAAGc9qvSsQAIBEmfDVvQ4kvLbwpyTWGEu8P-UQ1ZFD7GWnMy0nYNoxHi8ONLU/s320/DSCN0937.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMiGhgJo5d00Wqk4iYeEx2K8G1RMSEXykAnfc7TH0rvUXK41p2Gr2t4rtVWJIN5V4wtnvd3oYhkXTlzzqpvl9n_ASAl8oXeASQBk8EyW7mYPoKLGFy6il5rrWsazJJDNYkoz-xyH0W_Bg/s1600/DSCN0939.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMiGhgJo5d00Wqk4iYeEx2K8G1RMSEXykAnfc7TH0rvUXK41p2Gr2t4rtVWJIN5V4wtnvd3oYhkXTlzzqpvl9n_ASAl8oXeASQBk8EyW7mYPoKLGFy6il5rrWsazJJDNYkoz-xyH0W_Bg/s320/DSCN0939.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After I get out of the shower, I'll squeeze out as much water as I can from my belly button length hair, then flip my head over, and gently squeeze with a microfiber cloth to soak up extra water! My hair is super thick so this takes a bit!!<br />
<br />
After I get my hair slightly damp, I'll part my hair. Then pump or squeeze out a dime sized amount of hydrating curl cream. (I use Deva Curl Styling Cream, OR Macadamia Curl Cream) and smooth that over the bottom half of my hair, lightly shaking out sections as I go!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpENXigR_41oCXdi4Xz0QeIxYE5U_igYgOd3InvUpDepMajGga9R8BDwfB5iVVA_PFbrwluGSM881JUQSjNj_PZorhE0tVdcmq2s2r5dU54wcjWfbMxLTJU8UUk17xRyXAY_fU8QlF1VM/s1600/DSCN0940.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpENXigR_41oCXdi4Xz0QeIxYE5U_igYgOd3InvUpDepMajGga9R8BDwfB5iVVA_PFbrwluGSM881JUQSjNj_PZorhE0tVdcmq2s2r5dU54wcjWfbMxLTJU8UUk17xRyXAY_fU8QlF1VM/s320/DSCN0940.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Next, I'll squeeze out a nickle sized amount of Deva Curl Light Defining Gel into my palm, press my hands together. Then I flip my hair over and start scrunching sections. This gel gives enough hold to make my curls look defined, but not too much where my hair looks wet or crunchy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOVr2t4cuyJV7p7CUvJCn0Xbc7yECK22Aj7qQA7j9XasL6OznbK1zhk-rHT4rhBhb8JFEcvHbZtekCCokFjvbE67ZpK6-bwIqbIKRSPPiiHECk7iHvoZvuEKUBsBq1wVXhTGovHrGgSaw/s1600/DSCN0941.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOVr2t4cuyJV7p7CUvJCn0Xbc7yECK22Aj7qQA7j9XasL6OznbK1zhk-rHT4rhBhb8JFEcvHbZtekCCokFjvbE67ZpK6-bwIqbIKRSPPiiHECk7iHvoZvuEKUBsBq1wVXhTGovHrGgSaw/s320/DSCN0941.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For Second day hair, I'll take Deva Curl Mist-er Right Refreshing Spray, and I'll spray it through section by section, and lightly scrunch my hair back into shape!<br />
<br />
This is my curly hair winter routine! What do YOU do differently in the winter for your hair?Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-57900489105146368612017-10-04T10:00:00.000-07:002017-10-04T10:00:20.149-07:00I Went Up North!! - What Was In My Travel Makeup/Liquids Bag?Hello all!!!<br />
<br />
In the time between my last update, and today, I have flown up to nothern ontario. And have flown back home to southern ontario!<br />
<br />
I had a BLAST. I met with a bunch of First Nations youth, and got a lot of info to take back home!<br />
<br />
Anyway! Since I was only there for a handful of days I flew Carry On! And I figured I'd show you all what I brought with me!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO7qfS3LqNwMbfAHcpF21-n1FDLTrcnekm2a9jhhEItKc9w4lrRrCi-0MOrzoMhrDSgDd0z_Dz1lae9f8trNaJZL5FNXd_KCnGS5rn93Mq7w0RwOn_M1QmVb_avUUTr4LxBYsJGQuHldY/s1600/DSCN0927.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO7qfS3LqNwMbfAHcpF21-n1FDLTrcnekm2a9jhhEItKc9w4lrRrCi-0MOrzoMhrDSgDd0z_Dz1lae9f8trNaJZL5FNXd_KCnGS5rn93Mq7w0RwOn_M1QmVb_avUUTr4LxBYsJGQuHldY/s320/DSCN0927.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is what was in my liquids bag! There's a few things here, that didn't NEED to be in here, but I put them in just to be safe!<br />

What do you pack when you fly carry on? What would you pack!?Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-17127865265354592182017-09-24T20:41:00.001-07:002017-10-15T18:27:51.544-07:00Tumor Update - Remission, Recovery, and Relapse. Hello all. I wanted to make this post to apologize for my absence. But I had a very valid reason for poofing.<br />
<br />
August 2016, I was at my family dentist for the first time in 2 years. And there it was discovered I had a very large tumor in my right side of my jaw bone.<br />
<br />
September 2016, I started a YouCaring to help my family pay for the treatment expenses, as I needed to pay $3000 out of pocket for 5 root canals in my lower right molars.<br />
<br />
November 2016, I underwent a biopsy. And had a chunk of my tumor removed, and it was sent to University of Torontos science section.<br />
<br />
January 2017, I was put into Brampton Civic Hospital, where I underwent a 8 hour surgery to remove a 8 inch tumor in my right side jaw. Where it was discovered, it had eaten a hole straight through my jaw bone.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyeYIX2BMDZSj8Sdqc32HWZPD8Z45zPGUJY1CUiGdd1ugLuB0HKzHMDI4NbQErE8F1JeomGGcstPSLCKiNe9WdzErwdAGySBrynATvcOAKaP68BgiJjWfmhG-DesJ_xGPDZ_3zN3CXsJ4/s1600/tumblr_oenmoqlocq1qg3thzo2_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="422" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyeYIX2BMDZSj8Sdqc32HWZPD8Z45zPGUJY1CUiGdd1ugLuB0HKzHMDI4NbQErE8F1JeomGGcstPSLCKiNe9WdzErwdAGySBrynATvcOAKaP68BgiJjWfmhG-DesJ_xGPDZ_3zN3CXsJ4/s320/tumblr_oenmoqlocq1qg3thzo2_500.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
Pictured here, is the results of my CT scan done on my head. Where it shows where the tumor was growing and eating my jaw bone.<br />
<br />
February, March, April 2017, I went back to my surgeons office monthly for check ups on how my incisions, and my bones were healing, and everything was going really well!<br />
<br />
September 2017. I went to see my surgeon for the first time since April, this month. And he had finally gotten the results of my Biopsy back. And my tumor is NOT the type that I was originally diagnosed with.<br />
<br />
I have a MUCH more aggressive tumor than originally thought. And the specialist as University of Toronto said I will need to have a "very aggressive" treatment, and very "invasive" and "major" surgery on my jaw.<br />
<br />
ALSO. The worst part. My surgeon, who had removed 8 INCHES of tumor, just 9 months ago, did an xray of my jaw on a hunch. And from there it was obvious that my tumor has grown back FULLY in the last 3/4 months. And it's in a different part of my jaw. More along the hinge.<br />
<br />
As I'm writing this, it is Sunday September 24th. And on Tuesday September 26th, I will be going in for 3 more root canals. And paying $300 out of pocket.<br />
<br />
Im going to have a VERY tough road a head of me with regards to recovery, and remission.<br />
<br />
I have some photos taken and ready to be posted, But please please have patience with me right now. While I'm undergoing major health issues.<br />
<br />
I love you all so so much!!!<br />
<br />
<b>EDIT OCTOBER 4TH 2017: </b>I have seen my new surgeon at sunnybrook. And he has told me, that for treatment, and to get rid of my tumor COMPLETELY. I will have to have my whole jaw bone removed, and have the un healthy bone cut off, and metal plates put in, and THEN a bone graph done to fill in any more gaps.<br />
<br />
I may lose all of my bottom teeth, I'm going to be in the hospital for a while after the surgery. It's NOT day surgery. So I'll be stuck in a hospital bed.<br />
<br />
I have a LONG road to recovery up ahead, y'all!!Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-40997232783503333662017-09-10T10:00:00.000-07:002017-09-10T10:00:24.562-07:00Two Fall Looks - Hello Fall!Hello friends!! Sorry I'v been MIA. September 4th was the second anniversary of my grandfathers death. And I decided to take time off of the internet.<br />
<br />

<br />
Here in my part of Canada, it gets chilly pretty darn fast!! It's already at the warmest 16 Celsius here!! BRR!<br />

<br />
For the eyes, I did Colourpop Bel Air (a light brown) as a transition, Coastal Scents Barista (medium brown) at the crease shade. And then patted Colourpop Glitterati (A white/gold duochrome) all over my mobile lids. Then took a small pencil brush and patted Coastal Scents Amber Bronze (Deep metallic bronze) on the outer corner of my lids, and slightly into my crease. I also ran Amber Bronze along the lower lashlines. Added some mascara to the upper and lower lashes, did my brows. And then added Huda Beauty Famous to my lips and was done!!<br />
<br />

Second Look - Jewel Eyes<br />

<br />
Sorry for the lash of close up photos, But these were all I had at the time!!<br />
<br />
I did the exact same transition/crease routine here, then I took a small pencil brush and added Coastal Scents Chocolatier, and deepened my outer V. I then patted Colourpop Babykinz (sparkly metallic cranberry) all over my lids. I blended out any harsh lines, with a TOUCH more of Chocolatier. Then I buffed Colourpop Patchwork (deep navy glitter) under my lower lashline. Did my brows, added mascara, and then applied a coat of BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquid Lipstick in Chutney to my lips!<br />
<br />

<br />
Happy September, friends!!!<br />
<br />
Today I'm going to show yall some things I finished, and then repurchased because I loved them so much!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpYd6XYgX2aYimoHfsAOArD0WlwD7iRdOAqXZMDgVEEqKYih7YRDcq4vkXz9ITPaL-tGapPoJFGd8NgJWZGMmi6WRBW9kxuEDvRlBcozYO-HSRwQoEiZMOBFAFQZGSSq9V3OiandRUmlU/s1600/DSCN0831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpYd6XYgX2aYimoHfsAOArD0WlwD7iRdOAqXZMDgVEEqKYih7YRDcq4vkXz9ITPaL-tGapPoJFGd8NgJWZGMmi6WRBW9kxuEDvRlBcozYO-HSRwQoEiZMOBFAFQZGSSq9V3OiandRUmlU/s320/DSCN0831.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
while I didn't "finish" my first Modern Renaissance palette, I'v hit pan or fully finished 7 shadows. So I bought a new one, to use for when my first one is finished!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4XIlTicqV2sFse5w0WWa-68hRxWYIekUjXWLT-VxjLUNl7fb505orQbOAjAWb9I1Cn6C9A4xSehL0t4EvhGnM6g-wRIjBioOYYNnck5jHM5XYzlDGy2W_XVXMNcx0vTMAb_9WukDfMuE/s1600/DSCN0832.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4XIlTicqV2sFse5w0WWa-68hRxWYIekUjXWLT-VxjLUNl7fb505orQbOAjAWb9I1Cn6C9A4xSehL0t4EvhGnM6g-wRIjBioOYYNnck5jHM5XYzlDGy2W_XVXMNcx0vTMAb_9WukDfMuE/s320/DSCN0832.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
L'oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation is wonderful! It's my longest lasting foundation in the summer heat I found. I use the smallest amount, and really spread and press this foundation into my skin, and my skin looks amazing! I used to have the shade 304, but it was way too pink. So I went up a shade to 305 which is perfect!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrzzMAZ4SV84LiLTH_qlHSr3Pec7KY2fowduA7EP-UwIdUfCrJBJ126-rMU4wQjfD0SIdIu-4tBdvJ0lQh9JxAf7nvtTuXQ7dWBVxMmFlffh2lZBRJuRPGECol0PtLu9HbVZUTMa4qWD4/s1600/DSCN0833.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrzzMAZ4SV84LiLTH_qlHSr3Pec7KY2fowduA7EP-UwIdUfCrJBJ126-rMU4wQjfD0SIdIu-4tBdvJ0lQh9JxAf7nvtTuXQ7dWBVxMmFlffh2lZBRJuRPGECol0PtLu9HbVZUTMa4qWD4/s320/DSCN0833.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I used to own MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer in NW25, but it was too pink and dark, so once I finished that. I bought the shade NC20. which is lighter than my skintone. So It brightens my under eyes perfectly!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEPRkwLF2K4i1S7MbP0WP8M8b8TdnJqWvaK3VBwlrALIMKi_Q7jesRYqUCFIZ-uWWBOcxQdKYfT3yYmZ1y6IwdSiTUwttcpRxIYmb1d8AlgQt6eZVFJ5D_P4GxuL81Yuw-8iweHtz6NOE/s1600/DSCN0834.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEPRkwLF2K4i1S7MbP0WP8M8b8TdnJqWvaK3VBwlrALIMKi_Q7jesRYqUCFIZ-uWWBOcxQdKYfT3yYmZ1y6IwdSiTUwttcpRxIYmb1d8AlgQt6eZVFJ5D_P4GxuL81Yuw-8iweHtz6NOE/s320/DSCN0834.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
LUSH's Santa Baby lip tint is my holy grail, all time favourite lipstick! I'v only ever finished two lipsticks before. And this is one of them!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWUkVO2m8d-_3p7ww3UCJUOUkXMFxG0lXJIN_52kebopr5ZZUGn-qH2Y9kS1m6bIIStkPict0TLPM-ecuOvNHLilwaZVRqref8tqZuKgfm3Z480Rtxg06hHRiaXcfTzMksQcN3H3OAiV4/s1600/DSCN0836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWUkVO2m8d-_3p7ww3UCJUOUkXMFxG0lXJIN_52kebopr5ZZUGn-qH2Y9kS1m6bIIStkPict0TLPM-ecuOvNHLilwaZVRqref8tqZuKgfm3Z480Rtxg06hHRiaXcfTzMksQcN3H3OAiV4/s320/DSCN0836.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
<br />
Sephora Collection Clay Masks - I have the Pink Clay, and Purple clay masks. The purple is for hydrating, and the Pink is for evening the skin. I haven't noticed any difference in the even-ness of my skin. But these really moisturize my skin and make it feel soft and smooth!!<br />
<br />
Sephora Collection Honey Lip Scrub - I love this!! I'v been using a LUSH lipscrub, and finished it. And decided to try this. and it's amazing. Its non messy, it's balmy, and really smooths my lips!<br />
<br />
Sephora Collection Lashcraft Big Volume Mascara - I have stubby. shitty lashes. In the photos y'all see of my eyes, I USUALLY have 5 coats of mascara on in them. With this mascara I can get away with three coats of mascara! Yay!<br />
<br />
Clinique Black Honey Pop Blush - This is the best neutral/everyday blush i'v ever found!! It's a nice plummy colour, that blends out so eaily!<br />
<br />

<br />
I have the shade 09 Miss Gorgeous, which is a nice Reddish Pink.<br />
<br />
This blush is a cream to powder. As I blend it, I can feel it turning powdery. It's a cool feeling!<br />
<br />
This is a more sheer cream blush. So I'd highly recommend this to blush beginners!! I have to do two and a half layers of this, to get my desired flush.<br />
<br />
I use a MAC 159, a duo fiber blush brush and I'll lightly stipple this onto my cheek bones.<br />
<br />
It doesn't move my foundation when i use a brush. But when I blend with my fingers it DOES move my foundation.<br />
<br />
Lasting power is usual of the cream blush for me. Around 5 hours, when set.<br />

<br />
<br />
X-Rated is a matte cool, light pink blush<br />
Now's The Time is a shimmery golden highlight<br />
Jawbone is a matte warm medium brown bronzer<br />
NoHo is a matte purple/plum blush<br />
<br />
To cut to the chase, I LOVE this palette! It's my favorite cheek palette to date. I'v hit pan on Jawbone, because I use it every single day to add warmth and definition to my cheeks and.<br />
<br />
I use NoHo the most out of the two blushes. But X-Rated is still stunning!!<br />
<br />
These blend, and buff out easily. I don't feel like I need to bring out the big guns to blend them out.<br />
<br />
They aren't SUPER powdery to the point I have to lightly tap my brush into the pan. But they aren't stiff or hard.<br />
<br />
I would recommend this palette for light medium to medium tan skintones. I'v seen swatches of this palette on deep dark skin. And the two blushes were definitely ashy looking!!<br />

Good morning!!<br />
<br />
Today I'm showing you all one of my new favorite highlights!<br />
<br />
Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder in Frozen Green. It's a stunning iridescent green/white duochrome.<br />
<br />
This is a loose powder that can be used on the Eyes, and Cheeks! I only own this one (but spoiler I will be buying more!!) but the lovely Christine @ Temptalia pointed out, they all seem to come with differing amounts. My jar of Frozen Green comes with 0.7 Grams. Which, for $25. I'm not very happy!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguC7u3TI-CDX6dH0TIDQblfb4oyTc58948VCiJ-EgskIKNBQsxe8nmlnGyoXHEwJqxx75ZE1SZnEFStWWru9GPunComyiRtghyhjkYf_WBBHTij2T4IQS89OMF5KR84jiozgUA2Ne105s/s1600/DSCN0499.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1173" data-original-width="1600" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguC7u3TI-CDX6dH0TIDQblfb4oyTc58948VCiJ-EgskIKNBQsxe8nmlnGyoXHEwJqxx75ZE1SZnEFStWWru9GPunComyiRtghyhjkYf_WBBHTij2T4IQS89OMF5KR84jiozgUA2Ne105s/s320/DSCN0499.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the first look I did, using this powder on my eyes. Here I mixed it with a deeper/darker green shadow. Frozen Green lightened the other shadow, and made it more mossy/light and shimmery!<br />
<br />

<br />
Here is a second look I did with Frozen green. Here I used a bunch of warm browns in the crease (warm browns and greens are my FAVORITE combo!) and lightly patted frozen green all over the inner parts of my mobile lids. Here you can see, it's sheer-er on it's own, and lighter.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here, even though it's hard to see. I'm using it as a cheek highlight! It looks very pretty, iridescent, and shiny on my cheek bones!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall: 7/10</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Pros: Light fall out, doesn't explode out of the container, easy to apply/blend</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I'm going to chat about something very near and dear to me today!!<br />
<br />
Sunscreen! :-)<br />
<br />
I'v worn at the least SPF30 sunscreen every single day, for the past 4 years. I never leave the house without it on my face, neck, and whatever is exposed (so my shoulders, back, forearms, and hands!)<br />
<br />
I prefer a mineral sunscreen personally, and stay far away from chemical sunscreens!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNmEvs80HOUwUZSlT6rRJZnQP1So4ggkA9zMb-S7d5yhiST7Zl-44JdlvImJ6AjPNgd1xOJL1_0J4ARmtfIp78hUZFUN2pS_UI-oREI-MFv0kuLUKv2XXDWzptQ16IzjzJpBiGDr7TaE8/s1600/DSCN0584.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNmEvs80HOUwUZSlT6rRJZnQP1So4ggkA9zMb-S7d5yhiST7Zl-44JdlvImJ6AjPNgd1xOJL1_0J4ARmtfIp78hUZFUN2pS_UI-oREI-MFv0kuLUKv2XXDWzptQ16IzjzJpBiGDr7TaE8/s320/DSCN0584.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This sunscreen comes in a pretty large 110ml squeeze bottle. The lid snaps shut nicely, but isn't impossible to open!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-gyMzmBKzZ3q7mS_jOnXDeY3qtKUq5aG4LxflrJZ-Gufj4oWJcOj6AoBi5GjpQgRrxSaQDHoX3txiI4XS3zStnUQy12gn0zZhffPNpvFQjnESBgbU7HELvb426G7BwsIH3dz4YrxjO9g/s1600/DSCN0590.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-gyMzmBKzZ3q7mS_jOnXDeY3qtKUq5aG4LxflrJZ-Gufj4oWJcOj6AoBi5GjpQgRrxSaQDHoX3txiI4XS3zStnUQy12gn0zZhffPNpvFQjnESBgbU7HELvb426G7BwsIH3dz4YrxjO9g/s320/DSCN0590.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The texture of this sun screen is thick, and creamy! I'v found, it's not moisturizing enough for me to skip my morning moisturizer. But a super oily skin type may find that it's enough!<br />
<br />
It has an off white/cream colour to it. And I find it doesn't create a stark white cast against my NC23 skintone!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNpUPXdUshQCNeLkqmPpzonqMyqevpaefyibHp3u1XyeAMj51k3Sx2ylh6dnSfFMjqVuABnb74zGy7eduK2jm7b97ucZKbjsVcWVpq0JMklT78XNGIBzrD-ZatkiDOBwc8-cFo6-wahx0/s1600/DSCN0427.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNpUPXdUshQCNeLkqmPpzonqMyqevpaefyibHp3u1XyeAMj51k3Sx2ylh6dnSfFMjqVuABnb74zGy7eduK2jm7b97ucZKbjsVcWVpq0JMklT78XNGIBzrD-ZatkiDOBwc8-cFo6-wahx0/s320/DSCN0427.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is my face, after 2 and a half thick layers of this sunscreen patted/smoothed onto my skin. You can see the finish isn't too dewy, but it's not a powdery matte! It looks very natural!!<br />
<br />
Overall? At $25 a tube, I would HIGHLY recommend this sunscreen! It didn't aggravate my acne prone skin AT ALL, and keeps me nice and protected against the harsh UVA and UVB rays!!<br />

Helllllo!!!<br />
<br />
Today I'm going to be showing you all the second part of my skincare routine!! The nightime!<br />
<br />
For me, with my sensitive acne prone skin. I have to remove my makeup VERY thoroughly, but gently.<br />
<br />
This is what I use!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia-PyENiYXAliP3bNpHIkPzpTjRrYCbCuXArSBTjLwDFhpoSTGzD0a2rUFcb1JM6Zcz70kMgYZK18tQbgqmLDKu_1_dLTnVXn915r-CFGGKUyxGyXLI1gXaG3mrgKr6vDV4ml-NwS8la8/s1600/DSCN0554.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia-PyENiYXAliP3bNpHIkPzpTjRrYCbCuXArSBTjLwDFhpoSTGzD0a2rUFcb1JM6Zcz70kMgYZK18tQbgqmLDKu_1_dLTnVXn915r-CFGGKUyxGyXLI1gXaG3mrgKr6vDV4ml-NwS8la8/s320/DSCN0554.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I start by massaging Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser on my DRY made up face! It removes about 80% of my makeup. Which I think is pretty darn good considering how much makeup I wear!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsvjuvX313yUjjkaXIZgmiqwoPCTPYdyvBq5vObLdcvwbOrz92Vw0NABBaI9u3vSC4vxQk-jTiCLEo8MXlF8XdUIaOaTvRUwWTY5hn7VNXSdPhP9fgLQvIawAZ6ari93UGdkRnMb88PUc/s1600/DSCN0555.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsvjuvX313yUjjkaXIZgmiqwoPCTPYdyvBq5vObLdcvwbOrz92Vw0NABBaI9u3vSC4vxQk-jTiCLEo8MXlF8XdUIaOaTvRUwWTY5hn7VNXSdPhP9fgLQvIawAZ6ari93UGdkRnMb88PUc/s320/DSCN0555.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After I remove my makeup, I'll thoroughly cleanse my skin by using a combo of a clay cleanser, and a foaming cleanser mixed together. These are my favourite cleansers of all time!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW9WjxrMYim8NTL1ddj1zn0k-ISK4FPnAyiHg-RRLD9N8SXdb-9aZfgVx1F75QlHtp3g4ERiL1wLDM36feNJXYEG2NmlzsCldz4X8rpWQhautnTExO7OBwDq80FolTkmr7mWNfHhU6EY0/s1600/DSCN0556.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW9WjxrMYim8NTL1ddj1zn0k-ISK4FPnAyiHg-RRLD9N8SXdb-9aZfgVx1F75QlHtp3g4ERiL1wLDM36feNJXYEG2NmlzsCldz4X8rpWQhautnTExO7OBwDq80FolTkmr7mWNfHhU6EY0/s320/DSCN0556.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Next, to add hydration to my skin, and to sooth, I'll lightly rub a pea sized amount of Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel Creamy Lotion all over my face and neck. Then I slowly add water and rinse it off!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUQcQfYmqpcYz8C8hL2jJ6DhyphenhyphenWuNtq09eMfq_zc1IMgKNhTohCV8O3eU8zKM39wrnQHYngjobBhudryF_e0B1v1Xgb2HWqdjVS8F9D15JZLwVKoaZ6ZtxWn51KQWIU4_eyYYI345MKorU/s1600/DSCN0557.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUQcQfYmqpcYz8C8hL2jJ6DhyphenhyphenWuNtq09eMfq_zc1IMgKNhTohCV8O3eU8zKM39wrnQHYngjobBhudryF_e0B1v1Xgb2HWqdjVS8F9D15JZLwVKoaZ6ZtxWn51KQWIU4_eyYYI345MKorU/s320/DSCN0557.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Next I pat dry my skin with a clean hand towel, then I'll apply a pea sized amount of The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% . It tingles a bit at first. But it doesn't burn or make my sensitive skin feel raw!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglrYVEK2QPG-UMew8wb08Ot7XIl3HMye1ozER31zAe-EA-G9NF5t6udTwyh-LS1S-7mlhdUx7vOVxGLC_PIyAVVlNKdk5HiuhvYMaMFlkGdqYZhMbIQ3ys1mMQO-6RWxEJuCmKk4g6jFo/s1600/DSCN0558.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglrYVEK2QPG-UMew8wb08Ot7XIl3HMye1ozER31zAe-EA-G9NF5t6udTwyh-LS1S-7mlhdUx7vOVxGLC_PIyAVVlNKdk5HiuhvYMaMFlkGdqYZhMbIQ3ys1mMQO-6RWxEJuCmKk4g6jFo/s320/DSCN0558.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After the Vitamin C serum has sunk into my skin, I'll apply one pump of my Prescription Topical Anti-Acne Treatment Gel all over my face!! This Tactupump Forte gel is the ONLY thing that helped my cystic acne!<br />

How are you today? <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I wanted to show y'all my new and updated skincare routine, but i'm breaking it up into two posts, one for morning and one for evening! And this one is for the morning routine!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif7q1Lh_0t9lEynmdVKi9SLBhkHtGMM_h26onySNOc_-VKoaVDpwlXoqU6kVRFhLQQ6jk8HEUYD6yZwr8GrmUZnzs4LvUuoYlApIrYXmTxQvScM5uspymKHmJBbEyemOFdVsZmxPeN4No/s1600/DSCN0125.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif7q1Lh_0t9lEynmdVKi9SLBhkHtGMM_h26onySNOc_-VKoaVDpwlXoqU6kVRFhLQQ6jk8HEUYD6yZwr8GrmUZnzs4LvUuoYlApIrYXmTxQvScM5uspymKHmJBbEyemOFdVsZmxPeN4No/s320/DSCN0125.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My morning skin care is very simple! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'll quickly sweep over my skin with The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toner. It removes the built up oil from sleeping, last nights skincare, and dead skin! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
After my skin dries from the toner, I'll apply roughly 3 drops of The Ordinary's Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. Which is a Vitamin C serum! I'll rub my palms together, then press the serum all over my face, neck and chest! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I make sure to fully let the serum dry, as while it's drying down it's slightly tacky. But once fully dry it's not tacky at all!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I'll pump out two and a half pumps of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+. and pat that all over my face. Focusing it on my jaw line and cheeks, where my skin is driest from my acne medication. I love this lotion!! It softens my skin, and keeps it plump and hydrated, and does not break out my acne prone skin at all. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
After my moisturizer has sunk into my skin, I'll squeeze out a quarter sized amount of Juice Beauty Sport SPF30 sunblock!! It's a mineral sunscreen, so it's thick. But it's slightly tinted, and if you rub it in well, it dries down very well. After that first dollop of sunblock has sunken in, i'll go back in with another quarter sized amount. Focusing this second amount on my jaw and cheeks where most of my acne is. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And that's it!! Next i'd go onto my makeup! </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD-XxDOoI9Wt-ddZUxg_42R__PSiU2FdM9AQ3FQVjR6UiHCZOZZirzOJSZl6jXoOrVZOY6Noar0U7r_74RXhp2EvZ9niI2znci0i_-WSYn7wEfb2_RzEQfzDdjjq_afNVDqJQzSiGvg_U/s1600/DSCN0175.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD-XxDOoI9Wt-ddZUxg_42R__PSiU2FdM9AQ3FQVjR6UiHCZOZZirzOJSZl6jXoOrVZOY6Noar0U7r_74RXhp2EvZ9niI2znci0i_-WSYn7wEfb2_RzEQfzDdjjq_afNVDqJQzSiGvg_U/s320/DSCN0175.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For my summer face, I want things to be easy, and long lasting. It has to be easy to touch up, and not smear or transfer!<br />
<br />
I started with a thick layer of Juice Beauty Sport SPF30 sunblock. After that sank in, I pressed Cover FX mattifying anti blemish primer into my T zone to mattify my skin. I tapped and pressed Benefit's Boi-ing brightening concealer (prev the erase paste) in the shade 2 under my eyes and in my inner corners to brighten, and correct any darkness. I pumped half a pump of MAC Pro Long Wear concealer in NC20, which is lighter than my neck/chest. And used that to brighten, and cover up my dark circles. Next I took MAC Quikstik in All Aflush and Here You Go. I took All Aflush (pearly copper/rose cream blush) and swirled it onto the back of my hand, and picked up my stipple brush and lightly stippled the cream blush onto my cheek bones. I took a flat top powder brush, and pressed MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC20 (again, lighter than my neck and chest) and pressed that into my under eyes/eye lids, cheeks, and T zone to set and mattify my skin! Next was 3 sprays of Cover FX Mattifying Setting spray.<br />
<br />
I switched to a blush brush after the setting spray had dried, and buffed and blended Sephora Collection Hysterical blush (Sparkly Neutral rose blush) onto my cheeks. I choose this blush because it matches the cream blush pretty closely! I switched to a foundation buffing brush, and dipped into Urban Decay Jaw Bone bronzer, and I buffed that in upward motions just under my cheek bones, to add shape and dimension to my face. For highlight, I used Now's The Time and ran that lightly along my cheek bones!<br />
<br />
For brows, I kept it easy! I took an angled brush, and my favourite brow powder. Annabelle brow to go in medium/deep. And just lightly filled them in. Then lightly gelled them with Essence Make Me Brow!<br />
<br />
For eyes, I kept it SUPER easy! I used Colourpop Bel Air as a transition shade and buffed that messily onto my hood. Next I took Coastal Scents Barista and blended that through my crease and onto the hood as my crease shade. To add dimension to my eyes, I took a pencil brush and lightly added MAC Embark directly into my crease. For my lids, I took a clean finger and dipped into Now's The Time Highlighter, and I pressed that all over my mobile lids for a nice glow! I took a stiff, dense pencil brush and buffed MAC Mulch under my lower lashline. I added two coats of Buxom Lash Mascara, and then let it dry a touch. And went back in with another layer of Benefit Roller Lash!<br />
<br />
For my lips, I applied MAC prep and prime lip primer, letting it dry/set. Then I free handedly applied MAC Viva Glam Taraji P. Henson lipstick!<br />
<br />
And that's it!!! That's my quick and easy summer makeup routine!! What have you been wearly lately?<br />

<br />

<br />
<br />

<br />
First off, I got the UD Basquiat Gold Griot, and Blush Palette on sale for $22 each! I love the blush palette, and am EXTREMELY happy with it!! I'v used at least one shade from it every day since getting it!<br />
<br />
The neutral shadow palette is okay. It's definitely not a all in one palette for me, thats for sure!! But I want to push my comfort zone!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkMaWKLYULoTcb7DerbmmbmRttmSRoraVK0CFSEu87hkHDEgFbBMdMTYPJuG01RCiIUITA1570Xzasf7I4vwm37dByCk6vRz9kYYc640naIIwj6K-M3-HwE8gxAXczvet2P5ZqAGWqImc/s1600/DSCN9938.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkMaWKLYULoTcb7DerbmmbmRttmSRoraVK0CFSEu87hkHDEgFbBMdMTYPJuG01RCiIUITA1570Xzasf7I4vwm37dByCk6vRz9kYYc640naIIwj6K-M3-HwE8gxAXczvet2P5ZqAGWqImc/s320/DSCN9938.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsZqJVUTSXaCM9gSB5zVUKHGxiWbS9v1lH3U9iKKm1AE9MqDb8Wqwc0qDXXH7A99D4_OnJh7772ARz3Xwdi9QsFWOGX2192QoVWJvgKFnAwP9TotxOSTNCwEgQbgn7p7G7X6wIeNQq0m8/s1600/DSCN9939.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsZqJVUTSXaCM9gSB5zVUKHGxiWbS9v1lH3U9iKKm1AE9MqDb8Wqwc0qDXXH7A99D4_OnJh7772ARz3Xwdi9QsFWOGX2192QoVWJvgKFnAwP9TotxOSTNCwEgQbgn7p7G7X6wIeNQq0m8/s320/DSCN9939.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />

<br />
I wanted to show off a look I did today!! I am currently running on coffee, and haven't slept in 30 hours. Pray for me y'all!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8xl1CL6s3KSLS0qTZOZNuMyY0gjgJwkZ9xCiiCVIIeooDT81DfhyphenhyphencsQ735B2VMMDVMXQ397x93TqeoQhMyvYutZDlgt_I8y3RwA7T7OVQJQK2Zy8r2gSySi1o5SMZ336Pydt8AiG5Je0/s1600/DSCN9926.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8xl1CL6s3KSLS0qTZOZNuMyY0gjgJwkZ9xCiiCVIIeooDT81DfhyphenhyphencsQ735B2VMMDVMXQ397x93TqeoQhMyvYutZDlgt_I8y3RwA7T7OVQJQK2Zy8r2gSySi1o5SMZ336Pydt8AiG5Je0/s320/DSCN9926.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
To start off, I washed my face with a non foaming lotion-y face wash. Patted dry, then applied a good amount of Josie Maran's Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter to moisturize and sooth my skin. I then applied 4 pumps of Coppertone Clearly Sheer SPF50 sunblock, and once the Coppertone SPF had set, I applied Shiseido's Wet Force SPF50+ Sunblock!<br />
<br />
After the skincare had set and soaked in. I squeezed out a dime sized amount of Make Up For Ever's Green primer, and smoothed that all over my face to neutralize redness. Then pressed Make Up For Ever's Smoothing Primer into my T-Zone to blur pores. For foundation, I squeezed a small amount of Garnier Oily skin BB cream in Light/Medium onto the back of my hand, and took a flat topped foundation brush and stippled/pressed that into my skin for light coverage. Next, I took CoverFX N60 cream contour shade, and buffed and circled that along my cheek bones, and temples. Next, I took my NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Custard. And pressed that under my eyes to hide the dark circles. To highlight my cheek bones, I used a mixture of CoverFX N20 and Starlight Illuminater and pressed that along the high points of my face. I quickly powdered using Laura Mercier Loose Translucent powder, pressing it into the skin.<br />
<br />
Moving forward, I re-defined the contour, using Jawbone from the Basquiat blush palette, blending upwards!!! I added some colour to my face, using NoHo, a plummy purple blush. And highlighted with Wet N Wild Precious Petals highlighter!<br />
<br />

<br />
For eyes, I primed with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and pressed a matte bone shade into the primer to set it. For all of my crease shades, I used the ELF Mad For Matte 1. For a transition shade, I took shade #4, a matte light peachy tan shade and buffed that in my crease and up my hood. For the first crease shade, I used shade #3, a matte light brown. And I buffed that through my crease and onto my hood, but not as high as the transition shade. Switching to a MAC 217, turned it on its side so it was flat, and I took shade #6, a matte deep brown. And placed that directly into the crease andi outer corner of my mobile lid. I took a Real Techniques blending brush, and did one last blend through, then I picked up ELF's liquid Eye shadow in Rose Gold, and put some on the back of my hand then tapped the cream shadow onto my inner 3/4 of my mobile lids. This is the base shade for this rosey gold look. Next, I pressed Colourpop High Strung a metallic rose gold powder shadow, onto the cream base. This intensified it, and grabbed the shadow and locked it into place! To take the look to the next level, I tapped some of Colourpops Birthday Cake Super Shock Shadow, which is a soft rose with silver glitter, onto the inner parts of my mobile lids. Three layers of mascara on the upper and lower lashes later, the eyes are done!!<br />
<br />
For Brows. I took an ELF Neutral Brown Eye Brow Pencil, and lightly filled in my brows, to add depth to them. And set them with Essence Make Me Brow!<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
For lips, I took BITE Lip Pencil in 016, and filled in my whole lips. then I tapped MAC Twig onto the center of my lips. Lightly blended,<br />
<br />
AND WE'RE DONE!!!Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-40834251551685050572017-07-16T10:00:00.000-07:002017-07-16T10:00:03.110-07:00What Makeup I Wore In 35 Degree Celsius (95 Degree's Fahrenheit!) Weather?Hello all!! Long time not post, Because I was away for a week with work!<br />
<br />
But I am home, and I am ready to sleep for a week.<br />
<br />
While I was away, I was In 35 Degree weather, which for my Canadian self, IS WAY TOO GOD DAMN HOT! But I thought it would be a good idea to post what I wore, and what lasted all day, plus some tips!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjoda6sWUsnTToOg76ldJ3bx6qs-JFpaLM4XC-y9f6lsRR0PNLPqD3ArLcMCcIRYrYA974OPWcmzRoWrIWSefEJoTGst8Nadj9JCLf1oshS16c8Z5ETTVU7YrBSUPhUTSav5V558hicuo/s1600/DSCN9817.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjoda6sWUsnTToOg76ldJ3bx6qs-JFpaLM4XC-y9f6lsRR0PNLPqD3ArLcMCcIRYrYA974OPWcmzRoWrIWSefEJoTGst8Nadj9JCLf1oshS16c8Z5ETTVU7YrBSUPhUTSav5V558hicuo/s320/DSCN9817.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
In order of application, I wore:<br />
<br />
Coppertone Clearly Sheer SPF50 Face Sunblock - This dries to a matte, non greasy finish! It doesn't break me out, and it doesn't burn my sensitive face! Overall, my favourite facial SPF!<br />
<br />
Make Up For Ever Redness Correcting Primer + Smoothing Primer - I applied a light layer of the green primer all over my face, to correct the natural minor redness I have. Then pressed the Smoothing primer into my "pore" areas, so my nose and inner cheeks!<br />
<br />
Too Faced Shadow Insurance - This is the only eye primer that works for me. So This was applied next!<br />
<br />
NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer Custard - This was applied to my right cheek, to cover the two cystic acne spots that popped up before I left. I applied this with my fingers in a tapping motion.<br />
<br />
Tarte Shape Tape Light Medium Honey - I used THREE small dots of this under each eye and blended it up onto my eye lids to cover darkness around my eye area. I used a flat topped foundation brush to tap this into the skin.<br />
<br />
Sephora Collection Colorful Cheek Ink Gel Peony - I took a stippling brush and applied this liquid blush to my cheeks next, before powdering.<br />
<br />
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder - I dusted this under my eyes, and onto my eye lids to set the concealer there and lock it into place.<br />
<br />
Sephora Collection Matte Perfection Powder Foundation 18 Golden Linen - I took a flat topped powder brush, and pressed this powder foundation all over my face, next to cover up the redness in my cheeks, and set the concealer that I tapped onto my cheeks.<br />
<br />
ELF Mist and Fix Setting Spray - I did a few Spritzes of this setting spray next. To get rid of any powdery look!<br />
<br />
Tarte 12 Hour Amazonian Blush Sweet - This is a shimmery coral pink blush. I knew I wanted a blush with a sheen, so I could skip on highlighting. I applied a few sweeps of this to my cheek bones next!<br />
<br />
ELF Brow Pencil Neutral Brown - I filled in my brows lightly next. I spoolied them, then filled them in, and spoolied again to blend!!!<br />
<br />
Essence Make Me Brow Brownie Brows - I locked in my brow pencil next, with this tinted brow gel! This lasts FOREVER on my oily skin!<br />
<br />
ELF Mad For Matte 1 - I used the cream shade, and the 3 lightest brown shades from this palette to highlight my brow bone, and to re-create a crease!!<br />
<br />
Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows - I used these three shadows for my eye looks! I used the first one on my lower lashline every day (I think this is my perfect and favourite lower lash line shadow ever!) The burgundy shade, was used on my lids for a more "dramatic" night look for dinner, and the light pinky champagne shade was used for day time looks!<br />
<br />
Essence Lash Princess Mascara - One of my favourite, long lasting mascaras!!<br />
<br />
LUSH Santa Baby Lip Tint - My Holy Grail All Time Favourite lipstick!!! It's a matte, orange red. That lasts 9 hours on me, without drying out my lips, and needing to be re-applied!<br />
<br />
ELF Mist and Fix Setting Spray - As the very last step I would spritz my face with this setting spray again!!<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>My tips for when you're in extreme heat, for long days:</b><br />
<br />
Skip foundation if you can!! I find if I just spot conceal, and under eye conceal, my base lasts so much longer without getting patchy!!! Plus, I was able to re-apply SPF every 3/4 hours no problem!!<br />
<br />
Layer creams with powders!!<br />
<br />
Keep a little pouch with SPF, powder, lipstick, etc in your backpack/purse/bag and carry that with you!!<br />
<br />
Less is more!!<br />
<br />
Use tried and true favourites!! Don't test new makeup when you need it to last 12 hours in the heat!Shannon nagyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08595617986689995234noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616799840335447490.post-85520931273326358172017-07-08T10:00:00.000-07:002017-07-08T10:00:12.735-07:00ELF Mad For Matte 1 ReviewHello all!! These eye shadows are smooth, silky, and slightly powdery!<br />
<br />
They blend out exceptionally well.<br />
<br />
I have severely hooded eyes, and I love to use this palette to carve out my crease, and make my lids look less puffy!<br />
<br />

<br />
Today we're going to talk about two liquid eye shadows I really like!<br />
<br />
At first use, I HATED these! But I figured out HOW to use them correctly!<br />
<br />

<br />
These are liquid eye shadows in a tube with a doe foot applicator. Texture wise, these really are liquid-y.<br />
<br />
First time I used these, I took the doe foot and smoothed it over my whole mobile lid, then tapped it out with my fingers. Which resulted in a sheer, glittery, patchy mess!<br />
<br />
Now, I take the doe foot, and dab it onto the back of my hand, then pick up the liquid shadow with a flat, stiff synthetic brush. And tap that onto my lids!<br />
<br />
This results in a glowy, dewy lid look!!!<br />
<br />
I have zero issues with these creasing on my oily, severely hooded lids!!<br />
<br />
