Juice Beauty Sport SPF30 Sport Sunscreen Review

Hello all!! I'm going to chat about something very near and dear to me today!!

Sunscreen! :-)

I'v worn at the least SPF30 sunscreen every single day, for the past 4 years. I never leave the house without it on my face, neck, and whatever is exposed (so my shoulders, back, forearms, and hands!)

I prefer a mineral sunscreen personally, and stay far away from chemical sunscreens!

This sunscreen comes in a pretty large 110ml squeeze bottle. The lid snaps shut nicely, but isn't impossible to open!

The texture of this sun screen is thick, and creamy! I'v found, it's not moisturizing enough for me to skip my morning moisturizer. But a super oily skin type may find that it's enough!

It has an off white/cream colour to it. And I find it doesn't create a stark white cast against my NC23 skintone!

Here is my face, after 2 and a half thick layers of this sunscreen patted/smoothed onto my skin. You can see the finish isn't too dewy, but it's not a powdery matte! It looks very natural!!

Overall? At $25 a tube, I would HIGHLY recommend this sunscreen! It didn't aggravate my acne prone skin AT ALL, and keeps me nice and protected against the harsh UVA and UVB rays!!

My Night Time Skin Care Routine - The Ordinary, The Face Shop, Clinique.

Helllllo!!!

Today I'm going to be showing you all the second part of my skincare routine!! The nightime!

For me, with my sensitive acne prone skin. I have to remove my makeup VERY thoroughly, but gently.

This is what I use!

I start by massaging Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser on my DRY made up face! It removes about 80% of my makeup. Which I think is pretty darn good considering how much makeup I wear!

After I remove my makeup, I'll thoroughly cleanse my skin by using a combo of a clay cleanser, and a foaming cleanser mixed together. These are my favourite cleansers of all time!

Next, to add hydration to my skin, and to sooth, I'll lightly rub a pea sized amount of Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel Creamy Lotion all over my face and neck. Then I slowly add water and rinse it off!

Next I pat dry my skin with a clean hand towel, then I'll apply a pea sized amount of The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% . It tingles a bit at first. But it doesn't burn or make my sensitive skin feel raw!

After the Vitamin C serum has sunk into my skin, I'll apply one pump of my Prescription Topical Anti-Acne Treatment Gel all over my face!! This Tactupump Forte gel is the ONLY thing that helped my cystic acne!

Next, I'll pump three pumps of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + into my clean hands, and spread that all over my face to hydrate!!!

For my eye cream, I'm still using Clinique Repearwear. It's hydrating, and doesn't ever burn my under eyes, everything I need!

Lastly, I'll seal everything in, by patting The Ordinary's Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil all over my face and neck, to hydrate, and tone my skin.

Morning Skin Care Routine - The Ordinary, Juice Beauty, Clinique

Hey all!!! How are you today?

I wanted to show y'all my new and updated skincare routine, but i'm breaking it up into two posts, one for morning and one for evening! And this one is for the morning routine!

My morning skin care is very simple!

I'll quickly sweep over my skin with The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Toner. It removes the built up oil from sleeping, last nights skincare, and dead skin!

After my skin dries from the toner, I'll apply roughly 3 drops of The Ordinary's Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. Which is a Vitamin C serum! I'll rub my palms together, then press the serum all over my face, neck and chest!

I make sure to fully let the serum dry, as while it's drying down it's slightly tacky. But once fully dry it's not tacky at all!!

I'll pump out two and a half pumps of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+. and pat that all over my face. Focusing it on my jaw line and cheeks, where my skin is driest from my acne medication. I love this lotion!! It softens my skin, and keeps it plump and hydrated, and does not break out my acne prone skin at all.

After my moisturizer has sunk into my skin, I'll squeeze out a quarter sized amount of Juice Beauty Sport SPF30 sunblock!! It's a mineral sunscreen, so it's thick. But it's slightly tinted, and if you rub it in well, it dries down very well. After that first dollop of sunblock has sunken in, i'll go back in with another quarter sized amount. Focusing this second amount on my jaw and cheeks where most of my acne is.

And that's it!! Next i'd go onto my makeup!

Summer skincare routine

Hello friends!

I figured it was time for an updated skincare routine post for summer!

Morning:

First thing in the morning, I swipe some cleansing water all over my face to remove last nights skincare, and the buildup of oil.

I follow up with massaging a light, gel moisturizer into my skin. I'm currently using Avon Nutraeffects Hydragel-cream.

After the gel moisturizer has sunken in, I'll tap two layers of Clinique Repairwear Eye cream under my eyes.

After the eye cream has sunken in, I apply two layers of SPF. I'm currently switching between Coppertone Clearly Sheer Face SPF50, and Paula's Choice Extra Care Non Greasy SPF50.

Night:

At night I'll start by removing my makeup by massaging Ponds Cold Cream into my face and eye lids, then I take a clean, damp washcloth and remove my makeup.

In the summer, I like a foaming face wash. I like The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright and The Face Shops Herb Day Lemon Cleansing foams!

After I cleanse my face, I pat dry with a fluffy towel, and smooth and pat some Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid all over my face,

Once my face isn't tacky anymore from the BHA, I'll smooth some of my Tactupump Forte all over my face.

Once that has set, I'll pour out a dime sized amount of Bio Oil, and I'll pat that into my face.

Then I tap some Avon Ultimate Eye cream under my eyes!!

Masks:

In the summer I like a nice clay mask, and I'v been using Freeman's "deep cleaning. Manuka honey and tea tree" clay mask every 3 days!

I also use Origins Retexturizing Rose mask, once a week for a good exfoliation.

And I like to do Avon's Rose Hydrating mask after days at the beach, or when my skin is feeling a lil tight!

And that's it!! What do you change in your routine when the warm weather hits?

Post Cystic-Acne Skin Update!!

I wanted to post a skin update to do some bragging about how my skin is doing!! (knocks on wood i'm not jinxing myself!)

Around May of 2015 I started getting SEVERE cystic acne. They were so deep, and big it hurt to lay on my side to sleep. No matter what I did I couldn't get them to heal and go away.

So I finally gave up. And went to my family doctor, and got a referral to a dermatologist.

She put me on Tactupump Forte. A topical anti acne gel. And I can say with truth. I only break out when I'm on my cycle now!! And even then, it'll be like one deep cystic spot and that's it!!

My skin in July 2016:

This was after the cystic acne had healed, but as you can see, with my lighter skin. I was left with a TON of good ol' acne scarring!

My skin March 2017:

As you can see, Now my skin is CLEAR, EVEN, and pretty much, SCAR FREE!

I have not a stich of makeup on in all of these photos.

I have to credit my Tactupump Forte, and Paula's Choice for my clear skin!!!
