What's In My Fall Makeup Bag?

Hello friends!!!

Today i'm going to show you all what i'm carrying around in my daily makeup bag, for fall!!

For a base, i'm using a nice thick layer of SPF! Always!

After the SPF sinks in, I'll apply a small amount of Cover FX Mattifying primer all over!

For my foundation, I'm really loving Sephora wonderful cushion! it gives light natural coverage, and is pretty darn good!

I'm also using the last few drops of my SECOND bottle of L'oreal Pro Matte foundation, which is my favorite fall foundation!

For concealer, I like to be a little bit extra. But I use Sephora make no mistake concealer under my eyes, as it's really full coverage. And then MAC prolongwear concealer on any spots or redness!

For powder, I'm using MAC studio Fix powder, and a mix of Laura Mercier and RCMA No colour powder to set!

I could not for the life of me, get a colour accurate photo, so I'm deeply sorry!!!

For blushes, i'm adoring MAC Quikstick in all a flush and here you go as a cream base.

My all time favorite blush, Clinique Black Honey Pop, which is a warm, luminous plum shade!

And my favorite fall blush, NARS Sin! It's a cooler berry/mauve with golden shimmer!

For brows, it's the usual!! Annabelle brow to go, Essence brow pencil and gel! Don't need to mess with the good stuff!!

For eyes, I put aside two palettes! (And mac prep and prime eye primer!) Elf Mad for matte 1 for transition and crease shades. And Tarte Make believe in yourself palette for lid shades! (plus a stunning pinky highlight!)

For lips, I just tossed in a few things, but lips change based on the day! I have Blistex potted lip balm, MAC Prep and prime lip, Hard Candy Velvet mouse liquid lipstick, Colourpop LBB, and MAC Rebel lip glass!

For lashes, I have my new FAVORITE combo. Sephora Great volume, and Benefit roller lash!!!

Two Fall Looks - Hello Fall!

Hello friends!! Sorry I'v been MIA. September 4th was the second anniversary of my grandfathers death. And I decided to take time off of the internet.

But I am here, and I'm showing you all two fall inspired makeup looks I did this week!!!

Here in my part of Canada, it gets chilly pretty darn fast!! It's already at the warmest 16 Celsius here!! BRR!

Look one, Vampy lips -

For the eyes, I did Colourpop Bel Air (a light brown) as a transition, Coastal Scents Barista (medium brown) at the crease shade. And then patted Colourpop Glitterati (A white/gold duochrome) all over my mobile lids. Then took a small pencil brush and patted Coastal Scents Amber Bronze (Deep metallic bronze) on the outer corner of my lids, and slightly into my crease. I also ran Amber Bronze along the lower lashlines. Added some mascara to the upper and lower lashes, did my brows. And then added Huda Beauty Famous to my lips and was done!!

Second Look - Jewel Eyes

Sorry for the lash of close up photos, But these were all I had at the time!!

I did the exact same transition/crease routine here, then I took a small pencil brush and added Coastal Scents Chocolatier, and deepened my outer V. I then patted Colourpop Babykinz (sparkly metallic cranberry) all over my lids. I blended out any harsh lines, with a TOUCH more of Chocolatier. Then I buffed Colourpop Patchwork (deep navy glitter) under my lower lashline. Did my brows, added mascara, and then applied a coat of BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquid Lipstick in Chutney to my lips!

What do y'all think of my fall looks?

My favourite Fall/Winter blushes!

I love a good berry, plummy, red blush in the fall/winter! But I get that naturally just stepping outside my front door, as we're in freezing cold Canada! So it's a balancing act trying to find blushes that mimic this look without being super over the top!!

I'm also super heavy handed with blush, so I need a blush that isn't so pigmented I shake in my boots looking at it!!

I like medium coverage, luminous and buildable!

These are my favourite fall/winter blushes, and highlights!

We have starting from the top left:

The Balms Mary Lou-Manizor (Champagne Highlight)
Physicians formula Argan wear Blush in Rose (Light berry)
Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Plum Pop (cool slightly plummy, pink)
Makeup Geek Blush in Soul Mate (Plummy pink)
Sephora brand Baked Luminizor in 01. (Yellow gold)

Starting from top left:

Smashbox Halo blush in Warm glow (Mauvey brown)
Physicians formula Argan wear Bronzer in Light bronze. (Golden shade. this is a highlight on me)
Annabelle Blush in 52 (Light Cranberry shade.)
MAC eye shadow in Cranberry (I hated this as a eye shadow, it was too sheer. So I multipurposed it!)
Clinique Cheek Pop in Cola Pop.

I think only two of these are Matte. And that's because I personally don't like matte blushes, I find them hard to spread out and blend and buff. So I tend to reach for Shimmery/highlighting blushes!!
