Favourite Green Eye Shadows

Hello all!!! I hope you all know by now, how I am OBSESSED with lush, shimmery, green shadows!

I have medium, warm brown, eyes that LOVE Green shadows!

These are all of my favourite greens laid out and swatched!

From left to right we have:

Fierce Magenta cosmetics - Calista
MAC Cosmetics - Humid
Coastal Scents - Balsam
Coastal Scents - Dark Golden Olive
Coastal Scents - Forrest Eve
MAC - Sumptuous Olive
Sephora Brand - Hidden Treasure
Shiseido - GR707
Colourpop - Perilune
Colourpop - Hammered

I was planning on writing out what I love and hate about each shadow, but honestly? I'm SO picky about my greens. There's nothing that I DON'T love about these!!!

The powders are all creamy, pigmented, and last all day over primer.
The creams are soft, and blendable, and applied over primer last all day.
The one loose shadow, doesn't have a TON of fallout, and doesn't have fallout throughout the day.

I highly Recommend each of these shadows!!!

Hair Care Routine for Hip Length Curly Dry hair.

Hello all!!! :)

Today we are talking HAIR! My hair specifically. I have very thick, (To the point I have, multiple times gone to the hair dresser and gotten it thinned out!) Curly, Dry, and Long hair!

I live in a very dry, windchill, and snow filled environment. AKA the Border of Southern Ontario! So this is just my PERSONAL hair care routine, If you have short and thin hair, this routine and these products will be too heavy, and thick for you. But if you have thick, long hair keep reading! :D

In the shower: I will wash my bangs/scalp with either Clear hydrating cream shampoo, or Dove Oxygen Moisture shampoo. Both of these shampoo's leave my hair feeling non greasy, but they don't give that SQUEEKY clean feeling. My hair feels soft and fluffy! I DO NOT wash the length/tips of my hair!

Then, I will go in with Either Aussie Moist conditioner if it's the summer. But if it's fall/winter, I'll go in with BE Argan Oil hair mask, or my all time favourite, holy grail conditioner, AKA John Frieda Shea Butter hair mask. The shea butter hair mask is SO thick, I like to buy packs of this mask at a time and debaggy it into a plastic container, where I will scoop out as much as I need! All of these masks leave a NOTICEABLE difference in my hair!

After the shower: I will "Wring" out my hair in the bathtub after turning the water off to get excess water out. Then I'll get out and wrap my hair up in a towel.

After It's been in the towel for 5 to 10 minutes, I'll shake it out, and lightly rub the towel over my lengths to get any extra, left over water!

THEN, I'll part my hair. And take a pump of Macadamia Nourishing Curl Creme and spread that from my ears to my tips, lightly scrunching as I go.

I'll then take 5ish sprays of Arganistry Keratin Smoothing Leave in Conditioner into my palm, then pat my hands together and smooth this Keratin Leave in conditioner from my breast area length to my tips!

Lastly, I'll take 3 pumps of this Garnier Oil. I USUALLY Use HASK hair oils. As those are my favourites. But My walmart was sold out of them, so I'v been using up this. I'll take the 3 pumps, spread the thick oil over both hands, and massage this into my very tips for extra moisture!

For hold: I'll use this Herbal Essences Naked "flexible hold" Spritzer. It's basically a very low hold hair spray! I'll use this in my bangs when I wear them down. Or when my hair is in a bun I'll spray this all over to give light hold!

For heat protection: I'll use this Got2b "Mind Blowing Styling spray" It's for protecting your hair from heat damage when blow drying. But I NEVER use a hair dryer. I use this for when I flat iron my hair, and my hair always is left shiny, and soft when I flat iron with this!

Dry Shampoo: I wash my scalp twice a week with the shampoo's up top. The rest of the time, I sprinkle with Grapefruit scented dry shampoo powder into my palms, and then massage this into my scalp! This is SUCH a good value for your money compared to spray dry shampoos. I was going through 2 cans a month of spray dry shampoo. This, i'v owned for 6 months. And it's not even 1/4 used up. I love the scent, and the way this soaks up excess oil without stripping and leaving a very white, powdery look in my dark hair!

Lastly, my Flat Iron! I use Avanri (???) Ultra Nano-Silver Flat iron! I bought this flat iron in a salon in my town, EIGHT years ago. This bad boy is AMAZING. It goes up to 250+ degree's, it doesn't leave my hair all static-y, nor does it fry my hair off.

I personally think, it's 1000% worth it to invest in a great flat iron, and heat protection spray/cream.

This is what I do to keep my long ass, dry hair happy!! :D

This is my hair flat ironed! When it's natural it's a LOT shorter haha!

Sugarpill Feline Fancy Eyeshadow Quad/Liquid Lipstick Review/Swatches

Hello friends!

Today we're talking Sugarpill! More specifically their new Feline Fancy Kit!

I ordered, and received the package in less than seven business days. And the box was very well packaged!! it was filled, and the actual box containing my Feline Fancy kit was well wrapped.

I will say, I was charged an extra $18 at the door. And I wasn't happy about that, so for that reason, I most likely wont be ordering from Sugarpill again.

But spoiler; I ADORE the Feline Fnacy Quad and Lipstick!!

I know some people may not agree, but I'm really digging the packaging! I'm loving the cat on the front.

S.W.A.K is a light to medium warm duochrome pink. It swatches pink, but when I buff it out onto my cheeks I get straight up orange (Not in a bad way though!) On my eyes, it's more vibrant a pink than swatches or in the pan. I tried to get the photo as colour accurate as I could!

Wink is a pinky beige on me. It's very shimmery and smooth! I personally adore this as a cheek, and brow highlight, or on the lids!

Text Me is a matte, light warm, brown! This is the weakest performer in the quad. I'll talk more about that below with the swatches, but it's sheer. and dry. I'v used this as a crease shade, lower lashline liner, and as a cheek bronzer!

Kiss Kiss is my favourite in the set. It's a BEAUTIFUL, warm red that GLOWS. It's a warm, orangey red base with a metallic finish that just is stunning. This is smooth, and creamy and easy to blend out!

The lipstick, Strange Love, is amazing! I'm really digging this formula! It's a deeper red, with deep red and golden shimmer. This is the most comfortable liquid matte lipstick I'v ever used!! I can't feel it on my lips with is pretty amazing! It's light, and non drying on me. And when wearing off, you're left with a light shimmery stain. Not just pure shimmer! So I really like that!

Here are swatches, The liquid lipstick is two swipes, side by side. The pink and red are one swipe each, And the highlight shade is two swipes because with just one, it blended into my pale under wrist too much. The matte brown, is FOUR swipes, and it's still sheerer than the rest of the eye shadows.

Here are 3 different days where I'v used the quad as blush/bonzer/highlight, and eye shadow. And I'm wearing the lipstick, Strange Love at my lip colour in each photo!

These were from the day I got the set. I have Text Me heavily in the crease, Wink all over the lids and inner corners, First Kiss on the lower lashlines. And Wink to highlight the cheeks!

Here, I had Wink applied to my brow bones, and my cheek bones down to my apples! I wanted to show off just how beautiful of a glow you CAN get with Wink!

Here, I have Text Me heavily in the crease, then I patted Kiss Kiss on the outer corners of my mobile lids, and S.W.A.K on my inner corners of my mobile lids, blended those two together. Added a touch of Kiss Kiss into the outer crease, and lower lashline. Then highlighted with Wink!

Here is the same look from above, but with winged liner, and from a different day. I also have Kiss Kiss on my cheeks, with Wink to highlight!

The Shadows in the Quad last all day over ELF Sheer eye lid primer, or Too Faced Shadow Insurance for me. I have no creasing or fading. They are pretty darn easy to blend out with fluffy brushes. I never once felt frustrated with blending these shadows!

Price: $48 + $12 Shipping, + $18 charges at door!

Amount of product: You get 5.4 ML of Vegan, and Cruelty Free Liquid lipstick, and you get 0.05oz x4 of shadow!

Overall: While I will not be ordering from Sugarpill again soon, that is just my personal willing to spend money, as I feel they/it kind of screw over Canadians. But I for Americans, I think this is a AMAZING duo. I love the quality, and the amount of product you get!

BITE Beauty Licorice, Beetroot, and Mulberry review!

Hello friends!!

Today we are getting right to business. And that is talking about this AMAZING, KICK ASS, Canadian brand. BITE beauty!

I ADORE their lipsticks. And I love how popular they are, for a Canadian brand!!!

I have FOUR lipsticks from BITE. But, Shannon. You only have THREE pictured here, you might say.

WELL. Ya girl LOST her $30 BITE Jam lipstick. :( :(

But I really wanted to get this review up, so I figured when I do find Jam I'll just update this post with pictures!

From left to right we have:

Beetroot - A satiny beet coloured berry shade.
Licorice - A satiny, creamy Browned deep red shade.
Mullberry - A super shiny/creamy Purpley Berry shade.
Jam - A satiny deep purple

I fell in love with BITE's Luminous Creme lipstick formula, because it was so SO moisturizing, and creamy and soft. But I had my issues with it. It would melt in my purse/bag. And I live in CANADA?! It doesn't get very hot here! At most it was 30 Degrees. So that sucked. And It was SO creamy it would slip right off my lips.

Then BITE discontinued the Luminous creme formula, and brought out the Amuse Bouche formula!
Which is in my top three favourite lipstick formulas! It's dense, and thick feeling on the lips, which sounds ucky. But it FEELS like a nice layer of lip balm on. It DOES NOT slip around, nor does it bleed on me. It's like BITE took all of my complaints about Luminous creme and took that out in the new Amuse Bouche Formula!

Pros: Creamy, Moisturizing as HECK, Great lipstick for Canadian winters, pigmented, don't have to build it up like mad.

Cons: It melts in your pocket, and the bullet is known for breaking. Strongly scented with Lemon/Lime-aid.

Price: $30

Overal: 9.5/10!

10 Thing's I'm loving

Hello!! Today we're talking about 10 things I'v been loving lately. Either specific products, or a category of things!

I'v been loving this LUSH Rosy Cheeks Face mask, I got it on my birthday, and it's already done. :P It's a nice soothing, non drying mask, that works so well for my oily, but dehydrated skin! I mentioned this product in my monthly favourites!

Elf Nourishing Night Cream. Is pretty amazing!!! I was given this product by ELF. And I thought i'd try it out. And I love it at night, under my facial oil. But I REALLY love it during the day, under my SPF! It's smooth, and silky, and really does moisturize, and doesn't break me out! Praise be it!

Is there a drinking game for every time I mention the Modern Renaissance palette yet? Because DAMN, this palette is GOOD. It's beautifully pigmented, smooth, silky, and all around BEAUTIFUL!

Paula's Choice Skin care! I'v been slowly adding more and more PC to my skin care routine. And my skin has NEVER looked and felt better! I LOVE the Daily Mattifying Fluid for Normal/Oily/Combo skin. It has SPF50. And it really does work as a light moisturizer that doesn't feel heavy! I'll then layer the Extra Care Non Greasy SPF50 Sunscreen on top of the mattifying fluid, to make sure I have enough sun protection. And my all time favourite Paula's Choice Product, is their Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion. It's a chemical exfoliant and it's gotten rid of SO much of my hyper pigmentation, and my acne scarring!! I loves it!

Rose Perfume! My holy grail rose-y perfumes are The Body Shop's Moroccan Rose, And Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Rose! I feel so feminine, and sexy whenever I get a waft of these!

Colourful Highlights! I'm really digging purple, blue, and green highlights lately! My choice has been Colourpop Honeymoon, and Perilune !

I also have been LOVING matte, nude lips! I'v been doing a LOT of dramatic eye looks lately with the MR. So I'v been reaching for more nude/neutral lipsticks!

Bite Beauty Lipsticks! I own one more that's not shown here (The shade Jam, which is a nice dark pueple!) I loved the Luminous creme formula, but I would rub my lips together so much (because the formula is so creamy and smooth!) it would just disappear. So when they came out with the Amuse Bouche formula, I fell even more in love with this canadian brand! The lipsticks are creamy, and moisturizing, and they stain and last!
Expect a review coming up soon!

I'm getting way too ahead of myself, but i'm counting down to spring, and that's when I LOVE to wear shimmery bronzer on my cheeks as blush! It's a nice warm look for me! I love the easy application of this QUO bronzer, and I love the shade!

I'v been LOVING a flawless, full coverage base more so than usual! So I'v been reaching to my recently reviewed L'oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation! I need SO little of this foundation, and I love to use my hands to melt it into my skin!

Products that disappointed me!

Hey all!! Good morning!

I LOVE reading disappointing product posts. I don't know why, but they are my all time favourite posts to read!!!

So today, I'm writing my own! :D

This is The Body Shop's Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment, for combination to oily skin. It says it "balances excess oil while moisturizing" It broke me out HORRIBLY. Every time I use this, I get painful, deep, blemishes. I don't know WHAT it is in here. But I just cant use it! I tried it for a week and a half straight. And it was more of a serum. NOT a moisturizer. I thought it would be a light moisturizer, but it left my skin dry and tight and extra oily!!

Clinique Moisture Surge CC cream SPF30 in the shade Light. I hate this? I thought it would be PERFECT for me, because I love their Moisture Surge Intense cream. And I thought for the winter when my skin feels dehyrated I could use this as a light foundation! NOPE. I use a pore filling primer every day. And I let that set, then I go in with foundation, then concealer, and lastly powder/setting spray. So my base products are usually budge proof. This stuff, whenever I would powder over it, it would LIFT UP, while sinking into my pores at the same time? And after I would powder and spray with setting spray, and I'd go in with my blush. When i'd go to blend out my blush this would just RUB off!! I'v never worn it for a full work day. Simply because I don't feel comfortable leaving it on long enough!

This is the MOST STUNNING eye palette ever, no? And it looks right up my red and shimmer loving alley yes? Lancome eye shadows suck. There's no other way to put this. These blend away to NOTHING, by the end of the night when I go to take off my makeup, it's just a muddy, faded mess! And this is over top of SET, and PRIMED eye lids. No matter what I do, these just don't work for me!

Maybelline's fit me foundation stick isn't super sucky. I just don't like it. It didn't break me out, but it's SUPER PINK, and it doesn't last long on my oily skin. And you get not a lot of product in here. Which Yes. I know you don't get a lot of product with stick foundations. But I'm like 3/4 through the stick and I'v used it at most 5 times?

The cream over there is Marcelles Pro Sculpt Night Creme. This is supposed to be a night cream, but when I wake up my skin feels dry and tight. but oily at the same time. It never broke me out, but it feels very silicone-y, and it just didn't DO ANYTHING. I LOVE Marcelle Skin Care, so I was really sad about this!! I love their toner, face washes, moisture creme, etc.

ELF HD Mattifying Oil Free Cream Foundation, kinda sucks. It's oily, and thick, and heavy. I put this on, and when I go to blend it. It instantly streaks up. It sinks into my pores, And the shade range sucks.

Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I felt so BLAH about this mascara! I was SO excited to try this as everyone hypes it up as the BEST. But it did nothing for me. I only apply it to my top lashes, and from the top lashes it'll smudge to my bottom lashline, and I NEVER have mascara smudge on me. The brush is slightly too big for my small hooded eyes, it dries out SO quickly. etc.

I ADORE Paula's Choice. I'm affiliated with the brand, I love so many of their products. But this one just DIDN'T work. I have SEVERE Keratosis Pilaris from wrist bone to my shoulder. My arms are PACKED with KP, and they're bright red, and itchy. So I bought this body lotion to help get rid of it. I applied it twice a day for 2 months. And nothing. ZERO difference in my arms. :(

PHEW That was a LOT of "negativity" but I hope this helps some of y'all!!

What was the last product that disappointed YOU?
