Phew! Longest title award goes to this post!!

Hey all!! Today we're going to go over my Colourpop Lip collection!!

I am missing two or three here from my collection. But I couldn't find them no matter where I looked!!

From left to right:

Lumiere 2
Stingraye
Tulle
Too Lips
Mars
More Better
Lyin' King
London fog
Sookie
Zipper
Panda
Dropout
LAX
Prim

Lumiere 2, Stingraye, Tulle, Too Lips, Mars, More Better.

Lyin' King, London Fog, Sookie, Zipper, Panda.

Sookie, Zipper, Panda, Drop Out, LAX, Prim.

Jonesing, Tiger, LBB, Bossy.

The ultra matte formula is slightly drying, I def need to pop on some lip balm at the end of the day with these. But they aren't as drying as everyone else says they are for me. But again, I don't have severely dry lips!! They last okay. But they wear down no matter what I eat in the center of my bottom lip. 90% of them are transfer proof. I do own a mix of the original released shades, and the reformulated shades!

The ultra glossy lip formula is glossy, shiny, non sticky, not thick, and light! Literally my ideal lip gloss formula! I'm not a huge gloss fan. As my hair is so long and thick, and I live in a very windy climate. But these are stunning! The only qualm I have, is they aren't moisturizing on me. I usually wear lip gloss when my lips are at their driest. But at least these aren't drying!!

The ultra Satin formula is my favourite! It's a liquid lipstick that dries down, but not fully matte. it dries to a satiny finish, that doesn't slip and slide around. But does transfer! It's not drying at all on me. And lasts longer than the ulra matte formula, as it fades gracefully.

The lippy stix formula is overall pretty darn great! I have one cream, one matte, and one sheer. And they're all long lasting, except for the sheer one. But the sheer one stains my lips. They have a slightly plastic-y scent and flavor. And are not drying!

The lippy pencil formula is amazing! I only own one, but will be picking up more soon!! It's super creamy. but is AMAZINGLY long lasting. I love to layer bossy underneath london fog, and it lasts HOURS upon HOURS for me!!

Prices:

$6 American for the ultra matte, ultra glossy, and ultra satins.
$5 American for the Lippy stixs, and the lippy pencils.

Overall:

Ultra matte: 6/10

Ultra satin: 10/10

Ultra glossy: 8/10

Lippy sitx: 9/10

Lippy pencil: 10/10

My Most Loved Highlighters

Hey all!!

I'm a highlight junkie. I love the look of a dewy, sheeny, cheek bone area; What can I say?

I like strong highlights. That's a personal preference. But each of these can be buffed and sheered out, except for two of them!!

These are my current most used highlights!

From left to right:

Colourpop Perilune - a glittery green
Colourpop Flexitarian - A metallic champagne/peach
Colourpop School Is Fun - A white gold

Coastal Scents Lemon Chiffon - a bluey green shimmer
Coastal Scents Elven Gold - a intense yellow shimmer
Colourpop Honeymoon - a glittery blue

Essence Pure Nude Highlight - a beige subtle sheen
Sephora Brand Baked Luminizor 01 Stardust - A white gold
Make Up For Ever ME-512 - A gold metallic

Are you a highlight fan? What are your favourite highlights?

Favourite Green Eye Shadows

Hello all!!! I hope you all know by now, how I am OBSESSED with lush, shimmery, green shadows!

I have medium, warm brown, eyes that LOVE Green shadows!

These are all of my favourite greens laid out and swatched!

From left to right we have:

Fierce Magenta cosmetics - Calista
MAC Cosmetics - Humid
Coastal Scents - Balsam
Coastal Scents - Dark Golden Olive
Coastal Scents - Forrest Eve
MAC - Sumptuous Olive
Sephora Brand - Hidden Treasure
Shiseido - GR707
Colourpop - Perilune
Colourpop - Hammered

I was planning on writing out what I love and hate about each shadow, but honestly? I'm SO picky about my greens. There's nothing that I DON'T love about these!!!

The powders are all creamy, pigmented, and last all day over primer.
The creams are soft, and blendable, and applied over primer last all day.
The one loose shadow, doesn't have a TON of fallout, and doesn't have fallout throughout the day.

I highly Recommend each of these shadows!!!

Nillionaire FOTD (In which I do way too many face of the day's)

Hey friends!! How are you?

Today I did a nice shimmery/glitter look, using Colourpop shadows! Ignore my hair in the photos, ahaha, It's second day hair, and it completely curled back up.

Skin care: I took a wet cloth, and pumped some non lathering cleanser it, then cleansed my face with that. Then patted dry, and put on Paula's Choice Resist Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF50 (it's a light lotion for oily/combo skin with SPF) then I patted on a dab of Origins Ginseng Eye Cream under each eye and focused it on the inner corners, and the outer corners. When that set into the skin, I then squeezed out a dollop of Paula's Choice Extra Care Non Greasy SPF50 Sunblock and worked that into my face focusing it on the high points of my face (my upper cheeks, the tip of my nose etc)

Base: I then primed with the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick, then tapped a small dot of Make Up For Ever's step 1 mattifying primer onto my nose. Once that had set, I took a paddle brush and smoothed and patted some orangey/peachy corrector under my eyes mostly in the inner corners. I then Took L'oreal Infalible Total Cover foundation and with clean, warm hands I worked that into my skin, focusing it on my cheeks. I used the shade 304 today, but I'm really the shade 305. As 304 is SUPER pink and peachy on my yellow skin! When the foundation set to a powdery finish, I took the same paddle brush, and dotted some Kat Von D lock it concealer under my eyes then patted that out. Next I took a smaller fluffy brush and patted translucent powder under my eyes to set. I switched to a bigger brush and then patted MAC Blot Powder all over to set!

Cheeks: For Cheeks, Any American Readers are going to be disappointed! I used two Canadian only brands for my cheeks. I took my big fluffy blush brush, and patted/buffed the shimmery golden brown bronzer from the QUO Prismatic Face Palette. Then I took a fluffy highlighting brush, and I dipped into the Yellow Gold eye shadow from the Joe Fresh Eye Shadow Trio in Gold Rush, and I blended that along my cheek bones!

Brows: I combed them with a spoolie to get rid of any foundation in them, then took an angled brow brush, and lightly tapped into my Annabelle Brows to Go kit, then brushed that through my brows, starting at the bottom and working up. When I was satisfied with the colour, I took my MAC brow set and combed through them lightly to set them into place.

Eyes: I primed with Too Faced Shadow insurance, then set with ABH Tempera from lashline to brow bone, I took a large fluffy crease blush and buffed Warm Taupe into my crease and outer corner of my mobile lid. Then took a touch of Antique Bronze and buffed that in my outer crease, not as high as Warm Taupe. Then took the 217 and buffed out any harsh lines, doing little circles back and forth to make sure it was nice and soft. At this point I decided I needed some glitter! So I dipped into Colourpop's Nillionair and tapped that onto my mobile lids, and slightly up onto my hood. I wanted a TOUCH more sparkle, so I patted some of Colourpop's Glitter Sheer shadow in Paisley onto my lids and inner corners! I took a small, stiff pencil brush and ran some of Love Letter on my lower lashline. Two coats of mascara on my upper and lower lashes. Then I popped on my favourite falsies. And the eyes are done!

Lips: I put Colourpop's LBB Lippy Stick on my lips, blotted, then put another layer on!

And that's it!!! What do you think of this sparkly look?

Colourpop Pressed Eyeshadows Review/Swatches

Good Morning!!

I promised i'll start my reviews and swatches of my Colourpop collection. Today we are doing the BRAND NEW Pressed shadows!!

I only have four of them, but spoiler: I will be ordering more!

I have three shimmery/metallic shades, and one matte!!

As you can see, these are PIGMENTED! And soft!

From top to bottom we have:

Take it Slow - A light off white, champagne shade. It's metallic, and soft! and a lovely brow and inner corner highlight on me!
High Strung - My favourite of the four! It's SO creamy, and dense. It's super metallic, and shiney. It's a beautiful rose gold on my skin. I love it as a light shimery lid shade!
Come and Get It - This is a soft, creamy, metallic!! It can be worn buffed into the skin for a golden sheen, or worn heavier for more pigment and more of the pink base with shine through!
Bel Air - This is a super soft, and creamy matte. It's a light brown, perfect for a light crease, or a transition shade on my skin tone!

Pros: the matte is so amazing for a matte!! they're dense, and creamy, pigment for DAYS. Long wearing. No fallout!
Cons: The metallics might be too much for people who have fine lines and don't want them to be accentuated.
Price: $5 Each!
Overal: 10/10!!

Colourpop Highlighter Review/Swatches

Good afternoon friends! Today we're looking at Colourpop's highlighers!

I have 5 of them, and out of the 5, there's 3 different finishes/levels of shimmer/glow.

Colourpop has lots of different shades and tones of highlights. I really do appreciate them having deeper highlights!!

I have in left to right from the top picture: Honeymoon, Lunch Money, Perilune, School is Fun, and Flexitarian.

I took some ~artsy~ shots to show what the shades really look like!!

From top to bottom we have swatched:

Perilune - This is a sparkly, light green highlight.
Honeymoon - This one is a iridescent blue sparkly highlight.
School Is Fun - This is one of my favourite shades of highlight. It's a Yellow Gold shimmer.
Flexitarian - This one is hard to describe, it's a light champagney Beige? It's a metallic shade.
Lunch Money - This is a light warm white-ish shade. It's the least shimmery.

Close up's to show the finish's of them. As you can see, the two "odd" coloured one's, Perilune and Honeymoon are very glittery/sparkly with a sheer base.

The rest have a more opaque base, but differing levels of shine!

The formula, if you haven't used colourpop before, is very creamy, and soft. Their Highlighters almost feel wet to the touch, in my opinion.

I wear full coverage foundation every day, and I'v found if I pat them onto my cheek bones, it moves the foundation under it. and makes my base look patchy. So I think the best way to apply these with a full coverage base is to pat it on with your fingers, then take a synthetic brush and buff it out! This makes the product disturb the base the least for me!

Price: $8
Pros: Differing levels of shimmer, LOTS of shades, Dark skin friendly shades, Easy to apply on the run.
Cons: Can mess up base if you're not careful, Can make base patchy, they MAY sink into pores.
Overall: 8.5/10
