A Mostly MUFE Artist Shadow EOTD

Hey all!! I'm bringing you all another EOTD.

I was getting ready with my friend this morning, and I noticed I use mostly MUFE artist shadows. They really are my favourite formula!!

For this look, I started off with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. And set that with Sephora brand eye shadow Swan Song (a matte light powder pink) I started with Colourpop Bel Air (matte light brown in the crease and the hood as a transition using a big fluffy crease brush. I then dipped into Coastal Scents Barista (Matte medium brown) and buffed that through the crease and hood lower than Bel Air. I switched to a pencil brush, and dipped into MAC Embark (matte deep brown) and i tapped that onto the outer corner of my mobile lids, and onto the very outer part of my crease to deepen. I then took a 217 and buffed and blended everything out. I then took the pencil brush and MUFE D-652 (A reddish brown with silver sparkles) and penciled that onto the outer lid for some shine. For the inner lid, I used MUFE ME-644 (metallic golden brown) and smoothed that on and out! After applying the main lid shade I decided to go back in with MAC Embark on the outer V. After blending it. To finish the look I took D-826 (Metallic reddish plum with glitter) on a smudger brush and buffed that under my lower lash line, added mascara and was done!!!

What do you think of this look? :)

Calista FOTD - (Sparkly Olive Green Eyes, and Nude Lips!)

Hello friends!!! Good morning!!!

Today I'm showing you all one of my favourite looks ever. Warm browns, and Green/olive's!

This is the overall look! Bronzed and Highlighted skin, Nude lips, and of course the green eyes!

For the eyes, I started with primed and set lids. I then used a light warm brown transition shade (Colourpop Bel Air) in the crease and up onto the hood. After setting down my transition shade I went in with a very orangey/warm brown (Too Faced Peanut Butter) in the crease. For the outer corners I blended some orange shadow (Too Faced Nuts About U). Since I was working with a loose pigment for the lids, I put the smallest dab of Tarte Shape Tape on the back of my hand, then took a synthetic small brush and patted that onto my mobile lids, and while the concealer was still damp/setting I pressed a shimmering olive green into my lids (Fierce Magenta Calista) I then took a fluffy brush and buffed everything out for a smoother gradient. Lastly for shadow I took a deep dark brown (ABH Cyprus Umber) and did tiny lil circles of that on the outer corners!

I then did mascara on upper and lower lashes, and applied my falsies!

For lips, I wanted a nice neutral shade. Something creamy and moisturizing. So I went with FRESH Sugar lip balm in Nude! It's pretty darn streaky and clumpy on me. So after I apply it, I blend and massage it into my lips with my pinkie finger!

That's the look!! What do you think?

Easter Lunch/Dinner FOTD

Hello all!! Happy Sunday/Easter Sunday if you celebrate!!

I spend every Easter with my Mum's Uncle and Aunt, and my close cousin. We've done this for as long as I can remember. And it's always fun to have an excuse to dress up a bit!

I went for a light base, with glowy bronzed skin, with lightly defined shimmery eyes!

For skincare prep, I used Garnier Pink Cap Cleansing water all over to remove any sebum and left over skincare from the night before.

I then moisturized with Josie Maran SPF47 daytime moisturizer. This is more thick than I prefer my daytime moisturizer to be. But my skin feels so good with this!!

After moisturizing, I then like to go in with my eye cream. My current daytime one is Clinique Repairwear lazer focus eye cream. I use this to hydrate and soften my dehydration lines!

I then applied two thick layers of Shiseido Urban Environment UV protection SPF40 cream. I'm afraid I ADORE this SPF! I can pack it on, and it doesn't feel super thick, greasy, and smothering. I'll have to pick up the full size!

After my SPF has sunken in, I patted two pumps of Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield all over my face to prime.

For mattifying and oil control, I tapped Paula's Choice Oil Absorbing "primer" onto my nose, inner cheeks, forehead, and upper lip!

Foundation was Sephora Brand 10 hour wear foundation in 20 Light Cream, which I love the formula, wear, and shade of this foundation. I dotted it over my face and really buffed and blended it into my skin.

I purposely picked the shade I did of Shape Tape, because it has a peachy undertone. So It'll cancel out the darkness under my eyes. So I did three dots (barely depositing any product with these dots!) under my each eye, then tapped it out with a paddle foundation brush.

I then went in with Cover FX Cream Concealer in G Light, to brighten up my under eyes. I only do this so often, and since I didn't sleep the night before I really wanted to brighten!

To set my concealer and foundation, I patted MAC translucent loose set powder all over.

For cheeks, I took Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in Medium/Deep and blended that along my cheek bones, temples, and jawline.

I blushed with Physicians Formula Argan wear blush in Rose. Which is a light cooler pink/berry.

I highlighted heavily with Wet n Wild Mega glow Highlighting powder in Precious Petals. I used this heavily to add some colour/warmth too!

For eyes, I primed with TFSI, then set it with a matte cream shade. I moved onto a light transition shade in my crease, then a warm orangey brown in the crease.

I took a shimmery deep purple, and built that up on my outer corners until it was deep and smokey.

Next I took a highly shimmery/metallic light white, and patted that over the inner half of my mobile lids and inner corners. Then patted a sheer pressed glitter overtop of that!

Mascara was Essence Lash Princess on the upper and lower lashes.

Brows were filled in with Annabelle's brows to go kid in medium/dark. I obviously used the deeper cooler shade. haha. Then gelled my brows with Essence Make me Brow.

Lips were WnW Velvet Matte Lip Colour in Charred Cherry!

What did you wear today?

Modern Renaissance EOTD pt 3.

Hello all! Happy Saturday!!

I wanted to show this look I did yesterday with yall!!

For the eyes, I started with ELF Sheer eyelid primer, and patted that in with clean fingers. I then set from lashline to brow bone with Tempera. I took a big, fluffy crease brush and buffed Raw Sienna into my crease and up onto my hood. I like to take my first crease shade up to just under my brow bone so when I relax my face you'll be able to see some of the warmth there!! I then took some of Warm Taupe and buffed that into the crease, not going as high on the hood as Raw Sienna. I changed brushes and got a smaller crease brush and ran some of Antique Bronze into the crease, and just barely peeking out onto the hood. I took the same small crease brush, and I patted Cyprus Umber onto the outer corner of my mobile lids, and picked up my fluffy blending brush and buffed out the Cyprus Umber so it was just a touch of dark brown in the outer corners. I patted Primavera onto my inner 3/4 of my mobile lids after that, then taking my 217 brush I took out any harsh lines. Two coats of mascara on my upper lashline later, I applied some of Avon's always on point brown pencil eye liner to my waterlines. I took Cyprus Umber and ran that along my lower lashline. Lastly added three coats of mascara to my lower lashes!

And that's it!!

What do you think?

Nillionaire FOTD (In which I do way too many face of the day's)

Hey friends!! How are you?

Today I did a nice shimmery/glitter look, using Colourpop shadows! Ignore my hair in the photos, ahaha, It's second day hair, and it completely curled back up.

Skin care: I took a wet cloth, and pumped some non lathering cleanser it, then cleansed my face with that. Then patted dry, and put on Paula's Choice Resist Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF50 (it's a light lotion for oily/combo skin with SPF) then I patted on a dab of Origins Ginseng Eye Cream under each eye and focused it on the inner corners, and the outer corners. When that set into the skin, I then squeezed out a dollop of Paula's Choice Extra Care Non Greasy SPF50 Sunblock and worked that into my face focusing it on the high points of my face (my upper cheeks, the tip of my nose etc)

Base: I then primed with the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick, then tapped a small dot of Make Up For Ever's step 1 mattifying primer onto my nose. Once that had set, I took a paddle brush and smoothed and patted some orangey/peachy corrector under my eyes mostly in the inner corners. I then Took L'oreal Infalible Total Cover foundation and with clean, warm hands I worked that into my skin, focusing it on my cheeks. I used the shade 304 today, but I'm really the shade 305. As 304 is SUPER pink and peachy on my yellow skin! When the foundation set to a powdery finish, I took the same paddle brush, and dotted some Kat Von D lock it concealer under my eyes then patted that out. Next I took a smaller fluffy brush and patted translucent powder under my eyes to set. I switched to a bigger brush and then patted MAC Blot Powder all over to set!

Cheeks: For Cheeks, Any American Readers are going to be disappointed! I used two Canadian only brands for my cheeks. I took my big fluffy blush brush, and patted/buffed the shimmery golden brown bronzer from the QUO Prismatic Face Palette. Then I took a fluffy highlighting brush, and I dipped into the Yellow Gold eye shadow from the Joe Fresh Eye Shadow Trio in Gold Rush, and I blended that along my cheek bones!

Brows: I combed them with a spoolie to get rid of any foundation in them, then took an angled brow brush, and lightly tapped into my Annabelle Brows to Go kit, then brushed that through my brows, starting at the bottom and working up. When I was satisfied with the colour, I took my MAC brow set and combed through them lightly to set them into place.

Eyes: I primed with Too Faced Shadow insurance, then set with ABH Tempera from lashline to brow bone, I took a large fluffy crease blush and buffed Warm Taupe into my crease and outer corner of my mobile lid. Then took a touch of Antique Bronze and buffed that in my outer crease, not as high as Warm Taupe. Then took the 217 and buffed out any harsh lines, doing little circles back and forth to make sure it was nice and soft. At this point I decided I needed some glitter! So I dipped into Colourpop's Nillionair and tapped that onto my mobile lids, and slightly up onto my hood. I wanted a TOUCH more sparkle, so I patted some of Colourpop's Glitter Sheer shadow in Paisley onto my lids and inner corners! I took a small, stiff pencil brush and ran some of Love Letter on my lower lashline. Two coats of mascara on my upper and lower lashes. Then I popped on my favourite falsies. And the eyes are done!

Lips: I put Colourpop's LBB Lippy Stick on my lips, blotted, then put another layer on!

And that's it!!! What do you think of this sparkly look?

Yet ANOTHER Modern Renaissance FOTD / Purpley/Mauve FOTD.

Hello all!! Happy family day!! My family is spending the day together just chilling and watching tv together!!

I was itching for a purpley eye look, so here we are!

I started out with my skin care, I washed my face using a creamy non lathering cleanser. Then patted ELF Nourishing Night Cream onto my whole face (I'm testing this currently! It was sent to me by elf the other day, and there will be a post about it soon!) then I patted a bit of Origins Ginseng Eye Creme under my eyes. Once that had sunk into my skin and wasn't tacky to the touch, I massaged Paula's Choice Extra Care Non Greasy SPF50 Sunblock into my face and chest. That's all I have on my face/skin in this photo!

Base: I applied my primer cocktail I mixed up the other day and patted that into my skin. I then took a paddle brush and two pumps of ELF Flawless Finish Foundation and I patted that into my skin. After I blended that into my skin with the brush, I took my freshly washed fingers and further melted that into my skin! I took my clean finger and patted a creamy orange corrector from my MUFE Conceal and Correct palette and worked that under my eyes! I'v been using Kat Von D's lock it Foundation as my under eye concealer lately, I got a generous sample of L42 I THINK is the shade, It's a shade and a half lighter than my skin tone! I patted that under my eyes. Then I took a fluffy brush and I patted MAC Set powder into my skin, making sure everything is locked into place and set! I took a smaller fluffy brush and patted MAC Blot powder under my eyes, my apples of my cheeks/inner cheeks, my whole nose, and  my forehead, to control oil.

Cheeks: I wasn't sure what lip product I was going to use yet at this point. So I went with a shimmery warm bronze shade on the cheeks, patting it onto the apples and blending up! I took a fan brush and lightly blended MUFE ME512 along my cheek bones/apples of my cheeks, and the tip of my nose!

I couldn't get any good lighting for the eye shots (The sun sets around 4pm in my part of the world!!) So I apologize DEEPLY!!

Eyes: I started with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and patted that from lashline to brow bone, To set and lock the primer into place I Patted Tempera (matte light whitey shade) from lashline to brow bone. I took a big fluffy crease brush and ran Warm Taupe (Cool ?taupey shade) into my crease and up onto my hood, After that I took the same fluffy crease brush and ran Buon Fresco on top of that. I took my 217 and buffed those two shades together to make a nice mauvey purpley warm shade. I picked my favourite purple cream shadow base, ELF Smudge pot in Wine Not (Creamy winey purple with a silvery sheen/shimmer) and patted that all over my mobile lids. Before It set, I took my 217 and buffed it up into the crease, and got rid of any harsh line! I took Crush (Glittery browny taupe!) from the Tartelette Tease palette and patted that on top of the cream base, and it turned into a super shiny, metallic, dewy lid! Once my lids were done, I took a slightly smaller crease brush and dipped into Antique Bronze (Lightly shimmery Bronze shade) and darkened up my outer corners, I really patted Antique Bronze onto my outer corner of my mobile lids to add depth!! I took a pencil brush, and ran Buon Fresco Along my whole lower lashline, then dipped into antique bronze and added that to JUST the outer parts of my lower lashline! Then I applied a light coat of mascara (Really just to straighten the curl of my natural lashes, and to slightly darken them) to my upper lashes, then I applied my favourite pair of falsies, and did two layers mascara to my bottom lashes. For the finishing touches, I applied warm brown liner to my waterlines, highlighted my inner corners and brow bones with Vermeer (shimmery pinky white)

Brows: I combed my brows with a spoolie to get rid of any foundation in them, then I took a angled eye liner brush and lined the bottom of my brows, then slowly filled in from bottom to top. Lastly I combed through them with my MAC Waterproof brow set to lock them into place!!

Lips: I applied lip balm at the start when doing my skin care, and whatever was left at this point I just patted into my lips, then decided on BITE Beauty's Luminous Creme Lipstick in Mulberry, and I free handed that onto my lips straight from the bullet!

And that's it, for today's look!!

Hey all!! Yes, this is ANOTHER Fotd. I'm sorry!! But i'v been really feeling my makeup looks lately! :P

                                                       This is the "whole" look!!

Face: For face I did Maybelline Baby skin primer all over my face, then I patted on a little bit of MUFE step 1 mattifying primer in my T zone. I then applied L'oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation with my warm fingers, I did three dots of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer under my eyes and buffed that out! I then took a big fluffy brush and patted MAC loose Set powder all over.

Cheeks: I contoured using the cool brown in the ELF Contour kit, I buffed Smashbox Halo Blush in Warm Glow onto my cheeks, and highlighted with The Balms Mary-Lou!

This is the close up of the eye look:

For eyes:
I started with Too Faced shadow insurance to prime.
I then took Sephora Brand eyeshadow in Swan Song and set from lashline to brow bone.
I took a fluffy crease brush and buffed Colourpop Bel Air through my crease as a transition
Then I then ran some of Coastal Scents Barista through my crease to deepen and darken
I took my 217 and buffed out any harsh lines
I packed a MUFE Artist shadow onto my outer half of my mobile lid. (I don't know the name, It's from the artist shadow pallet #1)
I patted Colourpop High Strung onto my inner half of my lids (I went slightly over my lid, onto my crease so you could see it when my eyes were open!)
I lightly brushed the line between the two lid shades to blend.
I applied a light coat of mascara to my upper lashes, and two coats to my bottom ones.
I did my small wings AFTER I did mascara.
Then I popped some lashes on!

For brows, I just took an angled brush and ran the darkest shade from my Annabelle brows to go kit through my brows darkening them. And then I lightly ran some of MAC tinted Waterproof Brow set in Brown Ebony.

For lips, I used a plummy purple lip liner, then applied two coats of Colourpop Ultra Glossy lip in Sookie to my lips!!
