Hey all!!
Longer term readers will know, I travel quite a bit. So I like to have magnetic bottom palettes ready, that I can just toss into my bag and not have to worry about singles, or finding a palette I can get a couple of looks out of!
First up we have my cheek pallet:
I have two makeup geek blushes in the top left corner (Soulmate and Romance!) beside them I have a travel sized pan of my beloved Bela Bamba from Benefit (DC) Then the three shadows down the right edge are Coastal Scents Coral Blossom (Orangey/Coral), Coral Rose (More of a fushia pink than coral!) and MAC Cranberry (shimmery burgundy/red)
Then on the bottom left, is a shimmery bronzer from ELF, then two highlight shades the lighter one is from Coastal Scents it's called Lemon Chiffon, and then the gold beside it (my second all time favourite highlight!) is Make Up For Ever ME512.
I like the quality of all of these products. I find them to last on me, and they work well. If they didn't I wouldn't take them traveling haha.
Next up, we have my travel eye shadow palette:
This is a Colourpop 4 pan palette that I took tweezers to and took apart until I was left with a magnetic bottom palette!
Top row we have: Sephora Brand Swan Song (Matte white/light pink), Colourpop High Strung (rose gold metallic) Colorpop Take it slow (Shimmery off white/Champagne) A MUFE Artist shadow that I don't know the name of, It's in the First artist palette, Coastal Scents Barista (Matte warm brown)
Bottom row: A sample sized Lancome shadow (It's a shimmery copper) Colourpop Bel Air (Matte light brown) Colourpop Come and Get it (Pink base with gold duochrome) MAC Sumptuous Olive (golden olive shimmer) And two MUFE Artist shadows (One is a metallic taupe, and the other is a dupe for MAC's Woodwinked!)
That's my travel pallets! My first trip is coming up fast! So I'm looking forward to traveling with these!

My In-Depth Skin Care Routine!
Hey friends!! Today we're talking skincare!!
I believe that, skin care is a very IMPORTANT part of makeup! If you have flaky, dry skin, makeup isn't going to sit right on the skin. Or if your skin is SO oily and you're not moisturizing then that's not going to help the oily situation either!!
My skin type: I have dehydrated deep down, and oily on top skin. before I started this routine, i'd wake up in the morning, and my skin felt tight, while being super oily. I'm super acne prone. I'm usually terrified to try a new cream, or serum. Because my skin hates most products!
This is my bare skin, I have ZERO makeup on here! (I infact had just woken up ahaha):
Morning Products:
I start by washing my face with Marcelle's Ultra Gentle Cleansing gel. It's a non foaming, lotion cleanser. I'll wet my face, then pump out a pump and a half of this, then spread it over my face and massage it in, rinse with water and pat try!
For toner, I use Alcohol free toner from Marcelle. It's their Tonifying lotion, It's for normal to dry skin, and it balances my skin!
I'll then pour out a splash of Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid. It's a 2% BHA Exfoliating watery essence. I pat this into my skin, focusing on my jawline, and the hollows of my cheeks!
I'll let the Exfoliator sink it and "dry" then I'll follow up with a light moisturizer. I'll use Clinique Dtramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+, Or, Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal Mattifying Gel.
Once the moisturizer has been applied I let it sit for a few and let it sink in. Then I use my all time favourite Sunblock!! I use Paula's Choice Extra Care Non-Greasy Sunscreen SPF50! It's for Combo/Oily skin, and it claims to set to a "soft matte finish" and it truly does! It doesn't feel greasy at ALL. So I feel I CAN apply the full suggested amount of sunblock I need!
After the sunblock's set and sunken in, i'll then start applying my makeup!! It sounds like a lot for the morning, But it's so quick and easy to do for me!!
Night Time Products:
I'll start with Marcelle's 3 in 1 Cleanser, It's a non foaming lotion that I squeeze a quarter sized amount out, then I spread over my skin and massage it in. You can see the white cream turn the colour of my foundation as I rub it in, and it removes my makeup!! It leaves my skin nice and soft and clean!
I'll follow that up with The Face Shop's Rice water Bright Cleansing Foam. I squeeze out a teeny tiny amount and spread it over my wet face, and wash my face with it!! I'll then take a wash cloth and remove the foam from my wash and splash with water!
I'll then pat my face dry, and splash some more of the Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid Exfoliator into my palm. Then I'll pat it onto my face!
NOT PICTURED, Because it shows my full name and address. But I use a prescriptive topical anti-acne medication on my cheeks, jaw line, and chin every night!!
I'll then take 3 pumps of Garnier Skin Renew Skin Regenerating Serum and pat that onto my face.
I then dot Marcelle New age day cream onto my cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose and then I'll rub/massage it into my skin.
In the winter, I'll then follow up with a dime sized dollop of Avon Rose and Apple Blossom Hydrating mask. I'll pat that all over my face then rub it in until it's all absorbed.
I'll do all of this 30 minutes before I lay down to sleep. Because I find the mask needs some time to sink in and not just rub off all over my pillow!!
And we're done!! This is my updated skin care routine!!

Make Up For Ever (N1) Camouflage Cream Pallet Review
Hello friends!!
Today we're talking concealer! Specifically MUFE's concealer and corrector pallet, in the lightest shade!
I have good skin, I don't need foundation EVERY day. And most days, I use this palette and even out my skin and cover things that way!!
I'm VERY big on concealer, I like full coverage foundation, yes. But It still never covers my dark under eyes enough, nor does it cover my acne scarring on my cheeks fully. (Name a popular full coverage foundation, I'v most likely tried it, and it didn't cover how I wanted!)
But that doesn't bother me, I'm more of a thin, even, layer of foundation and then going back over and spot concealing kind of gal anyway!
I have the lightest shade in the line. And as you can see by the dips in them, I use the last three (the yellowy concealer, the orange corrector, and the minty green) the most!
I love this pallet, it is one of the BEST makeup investments I'v ever made.
On lazy days, I'll pat the minty green all over my cheeks, between my brows, and on any blemishes. I'll then dip into the orangey shade and pat that under my eyes, focusing it where i'm darkest, like my inner corners. I'll then pat loose powder all over to set the colour correctors, then I'll go in with the darkest concealer and swipe that onto my cheeks, forhead, nose, and chin and blend out. I'll take the second lightest concealer and use that under my eyes!!
Every cream in this palette is smooth, creamy, and blends like a dream. I was expecting them to feel like that MAC concealer in the pot? But these are so much easier to blend into the skin, and they are so much creamier and softer. Not creamy to the point of creasing intensely though!
Price: $49
Pros: It comes in 5 different shades, creamy, covers well, lasts all day.
Cons: Pricey! But worth it for myself.
Overal: 10/10

Sookie FOTD
Hey all!! Yes, this is ANOTHER Fotd. I'm sorry!! But i'v been really feeling my makeup looks lately! :P
This is the "whole" look!!
Face: For face I did Maybelline Baby skin primer all over my face, then I patted on a little bit of MUFE step 1 mattifying primer in my T zone. I then applied L'oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation with my warm fingers, I did three dots of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer under my eyes and buffed that out! I then took a big fluffy brush and patted MAC loose Set powder all over.
Cheeks: I contoured using the cool brown in the ELF Contour kit, I buffed Smashbox Halo Blush in Warm Glow onto my cheeks, and highlighted with The Balms Mary-Lou!
This is the close up of the eye look:
For eyes:
I started with Too Faced shadow insurance to prime.
I then took Sephora Brand eyeshadow in Swan Song and set from lashline to brow bone.
I took a fluffy crease brush and buffed Colourpop Bel Air through my crease as a transition
Then I then ran some of Coastal Scents Barista through my crease to deepen and darken
I took my 217 and buffed out any harsh lines
I packed a MUFE Artist shadow onto my outer half of my mobile lid. (I don't know the name, It's from the artist shadow pallet #1)
I patted Colourpop High Strung onto my inner half of my lids (I went slightly over my lid, onto my crease so you could see it when my eyes were open!)
I lightly brushed the line between the two lid shades to blend.
I applied a light coat of mascara to my upper lashes, and two coats to my bottom ones.
I did my small wings AFTER I did mascara.
Then I popped some lashes on!
For brows, I just took an angled brush and ran the darkest shade from my Annabelle brows to go kit through my brows darkening them. And then I lightly ran some of MAC tinted Waterproof Brow set in Brown Ebony.
For lips, I used a plummy purple lip liner, then applied two coats of Colourpop Ultra Glossy lip in Sookie to my lips!!

DuoChrome EOTD
Hey all!!!
This is my eye look today!! I forgot to get a shot of my face/lips while the sun was up and bright (The sun sets around 3:30/4pm here!!)
For the step by step:
I primed with Too faced shadow insurance
I set lashline to brow bone with Urban Decay Thirteen (matte cream shadow)
I used urban decay Combust (matte light brown) lightly in my crease as a transition
Then I took Colourpop Bel Air and buffed that through my crease and hood.
I then took some of Coastal Scents Barista on a pencil brush and ran that through my crease to deepen
Then I took my 217 and buffed everything out.
I added a tiny bit of a unknown MUFE artist shadow, it's a deep dark sparkly brown, and added that to my outer lid/corner.
I patted 3 layers of Colourpop's Bae onto my lids, to get maximum intensity
I took the 217 and lightly buffed the edges of Bae out.
I added some shimmer to my brow bones.
Then did a light coat of mascara, added some falsies
buffed some of Barista on my lower lashline, then added mascara there
And the eyes are done!!

The "If you could only bring 7 makeup items on vacation with you" Tag!
Hey all!! I saw this tag and wanted to give it a try!!
(spoiler! I picked 8 things, not 7 because i'm a cheater! But I think it's fair, because of my hooded/oily eye lids, and oily skin I need two different primers right off the bat!!)
This is everything I'd bring with me on vacation!!
When I'm on vacation I like to have a:
Nice even, matte base, Long lashes, shimmer on the mobile lids, glowy cheeks, and bright lips!
If I were to leave on a trip right today, this is what I'd bring:
Benefit Porefessional - It fills in the pores on my inner cheeks, and it helps set a great smooth base for my foundation/concealer.
Make Up For Ever Conceal/Correct Pallet - I have the light one, which has three concealers, and two correctors. I like to use this pallet instead of foundation ALL THE TIME. I'll pat the green basically all over to correct redness/any blemishes. I'll then pat the orange under my eyes as a corrector. Then I'll take some powder and set everything. Then go over top with the darkest concealer shade and use that on my cheeks, and chin as foundation, and I'll use the second lightest concealer under my eyes!
MAC Blot Powder Pressed - I use this every day!! I love it for my oily skin!! It sets my makeup and leaves a matte finish behind!
Colourpop Pallet with assorted shadows - This is a colourpop 4 pan pallet that I took the foam insert out of. And I put my favourite everyday "must have" shadows in here. I use three of them as cheek shades. (Ones a light matte brown for bronzer, ones a shimmery golden pink for blush, and ones a light champagne for highlighting) And the rest I use on my eyes!
Too Faced Shadow Insurance - This is my holy grail eye shadow primer!! It keeps my oily lids matte and set and prepped for eye shadow. I never have creasing or fading with this!
L'oreal Voluminous Millions of lashes - My favourite mascara!! I love how my lashes look with this!! It keeps them long and fluffy!!
MAC Waterproof brow set - I use this in the darkest shade, and I love it!! I use this every day, either on top of a touch of brow powder, or just on it's own!!
My cheat item is: LUSH Santa Baby Lip tint - This is my favourite holy grail lipstick. It lasts a good 9 hours on me, and doesn't kill my lips. And it's a perfect vacation shade!!
