Colourpop Ultra-Matte, Ultra-Satin, Ultra-Glossy, Lippie Stix, And Lippie Pencil Collection, Swatches, and Review

Phew! Longest title award goes to this post!!

Hey all!! Today we're going to go over my Colourpop Lip collection!!

I am missing two or three here from my collection. But I couldn't find them no matter where I looked!!

From left to right:

Lumiere 2
Stingraye
Tulle
Too Lips
Mars
More Better
Lyin' King
London fog
Sookie
Zipper
Panda
Dropout
LAX
Prim

Lumiere 2, Stingraye, Tulle, Too Lips, Mars, More Better.

Lyin' King, London Fog, Sookie, Zipper, Panda.

Sookie, Zipper, Panda, Drop Out, LAX, Prim.

Jonesing, Tiger, LBB, Bossy.

The ultra matte formula is slightly drying, I def need to pop on some lip balm at the end of the day with these. But they aren't as drying as everyone else says they are for me. But again, I don't have severely dry lips!! They last okay. But they wear down no matter what I eat in the center of my bottom lip. 90% of them are transfer proof. I do own a mix of the original released shades, and the reformulated shades!

The ultra glossy lip formula is glossy, shiny, non sticky, not thick, and light! Literally my ideal lip gloss formula! I'm not a huge gloss fan. As my hair is so long and thick, and I live in a very windy climate. But these are stunning! The only qualm I have, is they aren't moisturizing on me. I usually wear lip gloss when my lips are at their driest. But at least these aren't drying!!

The ultra Satin formula is my favourite! It's a liquid lipstick that dries down, but not fully matte. it dries to a satiny finish, that doesn't slip and slide around. But does transfer! It's not drying at all on me. And lasts longer than the ulra matte formula, as it fades gracefully.

The lippy stix formula is overall pretty darn great! I have one cream, one matte, and one sheer. And they're all long lasting, except for the sheer one. But the sheer one stains my lips. They have a slightly plastic-y scent and flavor. And are not drying!

The lippy pencil formula is amazing! I only own one, but will be picking up more soon!! It's super creamy. but is AMAZINGLY long lasting. I love to layer bossy underneath london fog, and it lasts HOURS upon HOURS for me!!

Prices:

$6 American for the ultra matte, ultra glossy, and ultra satins.
$5 American for the Lippy stixs, and the lippy pencils.

Overall:

Ultra matte: 6/10

Ultra satin: 10/10

Ultra glossy: 8/10

Lippy sitx: 9/10

Lippy pencil: 10/10

My all time favourite, Holy Grail lipstick Review

Hey all!! I'm so shocked I haven't made this post yet. But here we are!

I want to share with y'all my holy grail "I only need this lipstick", lipstick.

I want you all to meet, LUSH's Santa Baby Lip tint!

LUSH's Santa Baby and I have been together for one year this past christmas, And we couldn't be happier!!

I feel bad that I'm just getting to this post now. Because It's a christmas exclusive, so I bought a backup this christmas! But if you fall in love with this beauty, don't fret! it'll be back. And you could always find it online!

Anyway,

Santa Baby is a described as a "red lip tint" and boy do I disagree!!

This is a satin finish, thick, opaque, orange lipstick with a touch of red (on me at least)

The consistency is slightly chunky in the tube and when apply it. But when you smooth it over your lips it blends it and it just melts into the lips.

The reason why I love this lipstick so much? it INSTANTLY Stains my lips. I applied the swatches to my arm, snapped a few photos, and right away wiped it off, and there was/is a bright stain. If I wear this for a full day, I'll have orangey stained lips the next day!!

I HATE reapplying lipstick. I feel embarrassed reapplying in public. So I need long lasting lipsticks. And this is IT. It wears at a heafty 8/9 hours on me.

This isn't drying in my opinion, but please remember my lips aren't super dry. I put lip balm on almost every night, and most mornings while I do my makeup. And my lips are in great shape. So if you have drier lips, take this with a grain of salt!

Price: $9

Pros: Non drying, creamy, opaque, perfect for long days, great staying power, brightens up my warm face.

Cons: every time I wear this it gets on my teeth and stains them slightly, Might be drying for some, hard to remove the stain.

Overall: 10/10!!!!

NYC Expert Last Lip Colour Review

Today's another lipstick review, so buckle in, friends!!

We're talking about New York Color's Expert last lip colour, lipsticks!

I own three of them. But am only showing you two of them today, as the third one I might be selling/swapping!

I own the shades, Velvety Fuchsia (Top swatch) and Air Kiss (bottom swatch). Both are creamy, slightly thick feeling, bright pinks! Air Kiss is more warm, on my skin. And Velvety Fuchsia is more blue/cool!

These lipsticks are pretty darn good for the price, But they do come with faults!

The packing SUCKS. The bullet doesn't go all the way down into the tube. So I'm always nicking it. And the cap will fall off if you blow on it! So they are NOT purse, or pocket friendly! They also have a fairly strong synthetic fruit almost cherry, scent to them.

But I continue to wear them in the summer because they're just so pretty! They stain my lips, and they really do last! I just wish the packaging was different.

Price: $2.99 (or 2 for $5)

Pros: Creamy, long lasting, non drying.

Cons: Packaging sucks, super strong scent, a lot of the shades look the same.

Overal: 6/10.

Maybeline Colorsensational Lipsticks Review (Including Creamy Matte, and Vivids lines!)

It feels like it's been a HOT MINUTE since I'v talked about my true love on the blog. Lipstick! :P

I own six of the Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks, Including one Creamy matte formula, and one of the Vivids formula!

I really adore these lipsticks, to be blunt. They are creamy, soft, not drying (but not hydrating), and don't make my lips feel gross and filmy!

I'm in the minority, and actually ADORE the scent of these!! I love to open them and take a wiff sometimes. but I know lots of sensitive skinned/nosed people do NOT enjoy the scent!! It's a playdough-y vanilla scent, In my opinion.

I couldn't find my sixth tube, But it's a warm brown shade. Something Coffee is the name!

From Left to Right we have: Bit of Berry, Blissful Berry, Ruby Star, Touch Of Spice, and Vivid Rose.

Again, from left to right, we have:

Bit Of Berry: This was the first Colorsensational Lipstick I got, and it's down to a tiny lil nub in the tube! It's a opaque berry pink. It's super creamy, and lasts about 2 hours.

Blissful Berry: This is a STUNNING Slightly sheer light berry! It's creamy, but doesn't slip everywhere, it's perfect for brightening up my face on light makeup days!!

Ruby Star: Ruby Star is my favourite around the holidays! It's a slightly shimmery, no where NEAR a frost btw. Just a soft pearly red. It's just as creamy and consistent as the others. It lasts a good four hours on me!

Touch Of Spice: This is exactly what the name is. A Creamy Matte. It's very silicone-y when you apply it, it just smooths on, and is opaque in one swipe. It's a beautiful Rosey Brown neutral shade on me!

Vivid Rose: This is a creamy HOT pink! It's soft, and easy to apply. And lasts about four hours on me. And leaves a pretty hot pink stain.

Price: $9

Pros: Creamy, Non Drying, Some stain, lasts pretty well through a meal!!, Doesn't feel cakey when you reapply.

Cons: STRONG scent that is off putting for most!!, Not hydrating.

Overall: 9/10

BITE Beauty Licorice, Beetroot, and Mulberry review!

Hello friends!!

Today we are getting right to business. And that is talking about this AMAZING, KICK ASS, Canadian brand. BITE beauty!

I ADORE their lipsticks. And I love how popular they are, for a Canadian brand!!!

I have FOUR lipsticks from BITE. But, Shannon. You only have THREE pictured here, you might say.

WELL. Ya girl LOST her $30 BITE Jam lipstick. :( :(

But I really wanted to get this review up, so I figured when I do find Jam I'll just update this post with pictures!

From left to right we have:

Beetroot - A satiny beet coloured berry shade.
Licorice - A satiny, creamy Browned deep red shade.
Mullberry - A super shiny/creamy Purpley Berry shade.
Jam - A satiny deep purple

I fell in love with BITE's Luminous Creme lipstick formula, because it was so SO moisturizing, and creamy and soft. But I had my issues with it. It would melt in my purse/bag. And I live in CANADA?! It doesn't get very hot here! At most it was 30 Degrees. So that sucked. And It was SO creamy it would slip right off my lips.

Then BITE discontinued the Luminous creme formula, and brought out the Amuse Bouche formula!
Which is in my top three favourite lipstick formulas! It's dense, and thick feeling on the lips, which sounds ucky. But it FEELS like a nice layer of lip balm on. It DOES NOT slip around, nor does it bleed on me. It's like BITE took all of my complaints about Luminous creme and took that out in the new Amuse Bouche Formula!

Pros: Creamy, Moisturizing as HECK, Great lipstick for Canadian winters, pigmented, don't have to build it up like mad.

Cons: It melts in your pocket, and the bullet is known for breaking. Strongly scented with Lemon/Lime-aid.

Price: $30

Overal: 9.5/10!
